chapter one

Your name is going to be Alexa, okay? Let's do this. They aren't "famous" in this either. They're jus every day normal people like you and me. They don't have vine accounts or youtube accounts or any of that stuff. Just bear with me. (it's summer in this story too)

I looked into his eyes. He was mine. Finally. "Matthew, I've been waiting for this moment since the forth grade." He looked into my eyes, then looked away, not saying anything. "Matt? Are you okay?" He walked away from me a little towards the door. "Alexa, I'm sorry. It's just, I've been wanting to ask you for so long and I knew you wanted me to ask you but I couldn't get enough nerve to. I'm sorry." He walked back over to me, and I just hugged him as tight as I possibly could. "Matt, you're okay. I'm just glad you finally did. I thought I was going to have to ask you, to be honest." He got a slight smile on his face. "Well, that would have been embarrassing." I couldn't help but laugh. I hugged him again, and then I sat down on the couch. 

"What do you wanna do today? We have to do something fun to celebrate us going out!" I looked at Matthew with a funny look. "Are you serious? We could just stay here?" He laughed, "No, we're going to a fair.. My treat!" He grabbed my hand and we walked out the door. The fair was right down the street, so we just walked. Matthew always had money on him, for some reason. He paid and we got our wristbands. He put mine on for me, and I put his on for him. "Thanks Matt. Let's have some fun!" 

We rode on everything, Matt by my side, because I was a chicken and hated rides to be honest. He knows that, he just wanted the chance to get closer to me. I was honestly out of breath, because we ran every where. "Matt, let's sit down please?" He nodded, and pulled out a chair at a table for me. I sat down, and he pushed me in, then sat on the other side of the table.

"So, that was fun. Did you have fun?" He looked at me, smiling, "of course I did, I was with you all day." I couldn't help but blush. I felt my cheeks turn rosey pink, and Matt saw it. "Awe that's cute. Do you want to go home now?" I nodded, still trying to catch my breath. "Yeah, let's go." I stood up, and he grabbed my hand again. We walked back to my house. It was time for Matt to go home to eat dinner. He hugged me then left. As soon as he left, my parents got home. They worked together so they left at the same time and came home at the same time.

"Hey Honey! We just saw Matt walking home.. How was your day?" I smiled, "Perfect, he finally asked me out!!" She smiled, she has been waiting for this moment forever, I don't know how my dad is going to feel about this but we will soon find out wont we. "What did you just say?" I looked at my dad, "Daddy, it's not a big deal. I mean it is for me, but not for you or mom. He's not like that, I promise." He looked at me, a little relieved, "He better not be, because you're my little girl and my job is to protect you, so if he hurts you, then I will be dealing with him." My mom looked at my dad disappointed, "John, I know you're just trying to protect her, but can't you be happy for her for once? She has had a crush on this boy since like the forth grade. And I know him, he's not like that at all. You can trust him. I do." My dad nodded and just walked out the room. "Sorry Alexa, you know how he is." I sighed, "I know. Whatever. i'm going to my room. Goodnight." I turned around, but my mom stopped me. "It's only 6, you need to eat dinner first." I shook my head and ran upstairs.

I laid on my bed, and grabbed my phone. I had two texts from Matt. one said 'Hey Babe!' and the other said 'Can I come back over? My parents aren't even home, like usual.' I sighed. Matt's parents were always on business trips, or just out in general. I texted back saying 'yeah, that's fine, but sneak in through my window. my dad's not too happy that we're dating now. he probably won't trust me having you over anymore.' he texted back that he understood and he was on his way.

I had a fire excape ladder from my bedroom balcony to the ground, so I just lowered it, so he could come up. I saw him coming towards the house, so I walked texted my mom saying Matt was coming back over, but was sneaking through my window so my dad wouldn't find out. Then i stepped out onto the balcony. I lowered the ladder and he ran over. "Come on, but be quiet. My mom knows you're here, but my dad doesn't. I don't want him finding out either." he nodded and stepped over the railing. Then hugged me.

We just laid on my bed together watching tv, until I fell asleep with my head on his chest.
