Today was the day. I was starting school. I have been here for a week, calling Matt every day. Video chatting twice. He's been doing awful, and so have I. I cried for three days and my face is still puffy. Matt's face was all red, too.

"Mom, I'm ready!" She yelled back down at me from upstais, "Okay! I'll be down in a sec!" A few moments later, she came downstairs and we were off to my new school. We arrived at the school like time minutes later. We were almost fully in our house, but we were still staying at the hotel.

"Are you ready to start school? I know it may be hard, but you'll make friends" I smiled, knowing she was right. I wasn't good at making friends but maybe I could start. I got out of the car and so did my mom. We walked through the front doors. everyone was in class, so I didn't care that my mom walked in with me. We walked to the front office, and my mom talked to the counselor. I got my schedule.

"Do you need help finding your locker?" I looked towards the lady, "No, I can manage. Thank you," I looked at her name tag, "Miss Jones." She nodded, and I said bye to mom and went to find my locker. My mom just stayed in the office and talked. When she starts, there's no stopping it.

I was walking around, looking at the numbers on the lockers, not even paying attention. The bell rang and just as I walked by a class room, someone ran out and bumped into me. "Ow!" I was currently on my butt, laughing. "Oh jeez! I'm sorry!" I looked up him. "It's okay, it wasn't your fault." I was still laughing for some reason, and he just joined in, helping me up. "I'm Joey, by the way." I smiled, shaking his hand, "Alexa." He nodded.

"I'm guessing you're new?" I nodded, "Yeah, I'm not really happy about it either. I used to be homeschooled, until I moved here."

"Where did you move here from?" We just kept walking, "Virginia." He sighed, "Oh, a USA girl." I looked at him, "Yeah. It's not a big deal. I didn't like it there anyways. I have only been here for a week and I already like here better. The only thing I miss about that place is my boyfriend and his family."

"Oh, your boyfriend?" I nodded, not even really paying attention to him. I was staring at a really hot guy down the hall way a little ways down. "Hey Alexa, you okay?" I snapped out of it. "Who is that?" I pointed down at the kid. "That's Shawn. He's the schools bad boy. He's the most popular guy at this school. He comes off as a bad guy, but I don't really think he is."

I said okay, moving on. "Why? Do you think he's hot?" I nodded, "Yeah, like damn." He laughed, "You have a boyfriend you know." I sighed, "Yeah, and I miss him a lot. Maybe it's good to move on. I probably won't ever see him again, unless it's on video chat or something."

He nodded, "I think his friend is hot." I pointed at a girl, "Her?" Joey shook his head, "No, him!" He pointed at another hot guy that was wearing a bandana. "Oh!" I laughed. "Yeah, I'm gay." He sighed, "I don't usually tell people, especially when I just meet them but yeah."

"Why be disappointed? I think that's amazing. Does he like you?" Joey shook his head, "Nah, he's not gay." I looked over at the guy again. "You never know. Wat's his name?" He looked at me and then looked back at the guy. "Taylor." I nodded.

"Well, you guys would be the perfect couple."

All Joey did was laugh.
