Chapter 2

Please don't hate me lol. I just wanted to update. I'll be publishing a new chapter every Monday until this story is completed. I know it's really early for something like this, but I was glad to know that this story is also ranked and top 100 at that. I am still writing this story but I am almost getting to the end. I don't know if I will do more updates like this later on since I am still trying to determine how my characters will develop.  Sigh expectations, expectations haha I can feel the glares and the annoyed looks through your phone screens. I wish I could publish sooner but Mondays just takes too long to come around. I really hope I can finish this story since I've had it planned for a while. I swear my time is always bad, but it's about the learning experiences. Since I am torturing you all I will included little bits of Peter and Shadows's POV.

Peter's POV

"You're the first girl I brought up here." I tell her as we look out at the sun setting. "How many girls have you told that to?" Kaylee asked with her gaze glued on the sunset touching the ocean. I took her hand in mine and intertwined our hands. She looked at me then, as our eyes met. She immediately pulled away and stood up. "I hope you fail Peter." She said bluntly as she walked away into the woods. I never understood why the ones who played hard to get always caught my interest. Girls with those personalities think they can challenge me. I guess I liked having fun with them. Before she could disappear I grabbed her wrist and moved closer to her, our faces inches apart. "It takes two to play this game, babe." 

Shadow's POV

"What do I have to do to make you listen?" I asked her as I grabbed her shoulders. "Tell me why it has to me? I thought we were friends!? What's so special about me?! Were you just using me?!" Kaylee screamed at me with hurt deep in her eyes. 

Suddenly I was jolted back to reality. I looked up to see Kaylee with a concerned look. I hugged her and she softly patted my back. "What's wrong?" She asked gently. "It was a nightmare. All that matters is that it's over now and you here with me." I tell her as I pulled back. "Don't worry. I won't ever leave you. You are my best friend." She said as she held my hand in her's. I didn't know what this feeling was. I knew that I felt something strong for Kaylee, yet I didn't know what. The only thing that occupied my mind was the fact that in my dream I hurt her and she hated me, maybe it was a sign of my deepest fears.

Welp there you go! That was just a little bit of what their personalities are like. REMEMBER they aren't human, these boys are suppose to be evil af but this is a side of them that only Kaylee get's to see. I'd also like to add that I've decided to extend this story to 12 chapters, I cri cuz that means more work for me and brain power. Haha lol. I know it's still early, like way earlier in this story but I seriously wonder who Kaylee will be with or will her heart stop her from being able to truly love? And will these guys' dark hearts change? Wellllllllll I have no idea tbh, loooool jk. Till next time.
