That Red-nosed Reindeer

Chapter 6

Rudy was sleeping with Comet last night when he heard a faint stepping sound.
"Who was that?" He shook a little as he got up. It was freezing in there.
He slowly walked to the door and opened it, scanning the outside. No one there... Weird.
Rudy stepped out a little further into the snow. "H-hello?" He said quietly.
No response.
The sound of a twig breaking over to his left startled him. He looked at the ground and saw something in the snow.
Hoofprints.
"Must be some of the other reindeer..." He thought.
He started following the prints slowly, cautiously, trying not to make too much noise.
Suddenly, he felt someone yank him up by the back of his shirt.
Rudy almost screamed, but the person covered his mouth with duct tape.
They turned him around to see their face.
Vixen. The leader of a group of delinquent reindeer. It's a wonder how he hasn't been fired yet.
Two of his lackeys stood behind him.
"Heyyy, faggot!" He grinned maliciously. "How's it goin?"
Rudy squirmed in his hand, and Vixen shook him a little. "Aww, look at that! Wittle baby's scawwwwed!"
The other two delinquents laughed with him.
Vixen threw Rudy on the ground and snapped his fingers. The two henchmen each held Rudy up by one of his arms.
Rudy started to cry, afraid, not knowing what to do.
"Aww... Don't cry..." Vixen punched Rudy in the face really hard. "Gay bitch."
Rudy felt blood coming out of his nose. He didn't understand what he'd done wrong.
Another blow went straight to Rudy's eye, and then his abdomen. Rudy wanted to run, but he wasn't going anywhere.
Then, like a flash, Vixen was pinned to the wall, and he saw Comet, Cupid, and Blitzen coming to Rudy's aid.
Blitzen and Cupid took care of the lackeys, and they ran away like cowardly dogs. Then, they held Vixen down while Comet held Rudy up.
Rudy was scared for a second, and nearly punched Comet.
"Rudy! It's me! It's me!"
Rudy stopped and started crying. Comet took the duct tape off.
"Comet!" He bawled into his shoulder. "Oh my god!"
Comet kissed Rudy a couple times on the cheek and hugged him close. "Shh... You're okay, babe."
Comet turned to the other two. "Take that son of a bitch to Santa. He'll know what to do."
They nodded and grabbed Vixen, carrying him over to the office.
"This isn't over, you fags!" He screamed.
Comet took Rudy and carried him baby style.
"Let's get you inside," he said.
He opened the door and sat Rudy down on the bed.
He still cried for a while. "Oh God, Comet! I'm so scared!" He bawled.
"Shh, shh... It's okay hon." He hugged Rudy softly and let him go.
The door opened. It was Donner.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Vixen just jumped Rudy!" He growled.
"Oh, no..." Donner came over and sat beside him. "Rudy, you okay?"
Rudy shook his head no and cried a little more.
Donner was good with medical business. He was the main reason that Comet's ankle could heal so quickly.
"Lemme look at him. Could you turn the light on?"
Comet nodded and flipped the light switch.
Rudy's nose was covered with blood, and he had a black eye.
"Oh, my... They really roughed him up..."
Comet hugged Rudy tight and rubbed his back. "Rudy, what happened?"
He sniffled. "I-i heard something outside, so I took a look, and Vixen started beating me up..."
"Do you know why?" Donner asked.
Rudy shook. "I t-think it's because Comet and I are dating..."
Donner nodded. "That's terrible."
By now, everyone had known that Rudy and Comet were dating. Most were okay with it, except for Vixen.
Comet rubbed Rudy some more, gently and lovingly. "Where all did he hit you?"
"In the eye... In the nose... In the belly..." He cried a little more.
Donner gave Rudy some water and touched his shoulder gently. "Drink some, Rudy."
Rudy nodded and drank the water.
"You two should get plenty of rest. Santa will undoubtedly be asking you for more information tomorrow."
Comet held Rudy close and nodded. "Understood. Thank you, Donner."
"Anytime, friends." He left out the door.

Comet covered Rudy up with huge, soft blankets. "Do you need anything else?"
He shook his head. "N-no..."
Comet cuddled with Rudy and gave him a kiss. "It's going to be okay, baby."
Rudy whined a little but nodded. "O-okay."
Comet rubbed Rudy's side. "Try to get some sleep. You're gonna need it."
Rudy closed his eyes and started to softly snore.
The night was restless for Comet.
Son of a bitch was lucky I didn't try to kill him...
He sighed and watched Rudy sleep peacefully. "At least he's okay."
He laid next to Rudy and sighed.
"Good night baby."
