Rudy had picked up a new hobby: drawing. He would draw himslf and Comet kissing all the time, and he was pretty good at it too.
However... No other reindeer had seen any of his drawings. Not even Comet. He felt really shy about it. What would they say about them? Would they laugh? Would he get jumped again for it?
He kept his drawings in a special drawer that had a false bottom to it. It was the smartest idea he had come up with yet.
One day, after another confidential drawing session, Rudy went to put his drawings in the drawer. He lifted the false bottom and set the drawings on the actual bottom. When he turned around, Cupid was right there to meet him.
"Hi!" He cheerfully said with an Irish accent.
"Oh! Uh, Cupid! H-hiya!"
Cupid smiled ruffled Rudy's hair. "Saw that the door was open, so I came to shut it when I saw this cute little reindeer doin' something secret lookin'!" He wiggled his finger on the word secret.
"Oh, oh, um, it's n-nothing, r-really!" Rudy said nervously.
"Nonsense!" He opened the drawer and saw nothing. "Hm..."
Rudy sighed, relieved. But, much to Rudy's chagrin, Cupid found the false bottom and took the drawings out.
"Aha! This is what you were hidin'!"
Rudy blushed and shook. "Um, those a-aren't mine! I didn't even know they were there!"
Cupid looked through his drawings and smiled at each one. "Aww! Looks like you and Comet have a great relationship! And these are pretty great!"
"You think so?" Rudy asked.
"Of course!"
Rudy grabbed the drawings back and put them back in the drawer. "Promise you won't tell anyone what you saw, please?"
Cupid tilted his head. "But why, Rudy? Your artwork is amazing!"
"I... I don't want anyone to see them, I feel embarrassed about it."
Cupid chuckled and playfully punched Rudy in the shoulder. "Alright! Your secret's safe with me!"
"Thanks, Cupid." Rudy sat back on his bed and played with his imitation game system.
Cupid walked out of the door, whistling.
Comet was outside, waiting. "Well? What was it?"
"Sorry, I'm sworn to secrecy! Haha!" Cupid kept on the trail, whistling.
"Well, what a help you are..." Comet went back inside and sat next to his boyfriend. Rudy nuzzled Comet softly and took a nap.
Comet sighed and pet the cute reindeer gently.
"Oh, Rudy, you can be a handful sometimes. But I love you anyways."
