Edyn didn't stop bugging me the entire time I was at her place. I wish I didn't tell her about Alex asking me to go out.
"It's not like it's a date or anything..." I force myself to say it out loud to Edyn, to convince her.
"Fuck off maddy! It's a date! He wants to go out with you! My bestie has a date! Omg YOU HAVE A DATE!" She immediately begins to scream out of excitement and I have to cover my ears so my eardrums don't burst.
"Chill woman, just keep telling yourself it's a date because it isn't." But is it really a date? Ethan thought it was. Edyn thinks it is and of course the other girls will think it's a date. But I friend-zoned him; he must think I dislike him. Oh god I fucked up.
"omg! We have to get you a super sexy outfit for tonight! You have to look hot!" Edyn exaggerates.
I look down at the clothes I am wearing. "What? Isn't this hot enough?" I stand up and pose whilst putting on the worst winky face, making her laugh.
Not replying, she grabs me and pulls me to her car.
*** We arrive at the shopping centre and Edyn pulls me into our favourite shop ever; Valley Girl!
I wander behind Edyn as she picks out clothes for me. Once done, she throws them at me and forces me into the changing rooms. Trying on each outfit and showing her, she screams as I show her the last outfit.
"OMG MADDY! YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! YOU MUST WEAR THAT TONIGHT!"
I turn around and look at myself in the mirror in awe. I'm wearing a off the shoulders white puffy top with beige skinny jeans and beige heels. (Photo below).

We stand there in silence for a few moments, entranced. Edyn finally peps up and says that I am definitely wearing this outfit tonight and that I have no options.
Well thanks Edyn.
We stay for another hour shopping for lingerie and cute clothes. Gotta look good everyday right? We then head back to Edyn's to get me ready for my so called date.
I hop in the shower quickly, not washing my hair as Edyn's afraid that "my curls will disappear". I get out, dry myself off and wrap my towel around me and head into Edyn's room. She throws a new matching pair of lingerie at me and I give her a weird look.
"What? You gotta look good if he takes your clothes off..." she says as a matter of factly.
I roll my eyes at her as I place them on. I then throw on the outfit that I bought earlier today on and put my heels on.
Edyn does my hair in a half up half down ponytail whilst my hair still has its curls in. She then applies a light amount of makeup on my face, making me look absolutely beautiful.
Once she finishes, I look at myself in the mirror and gasp.
"WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO ME EDYN?! WHERE DID I GO?" I scream.
"SHIT CALM DOWN MADDY, YOU LOOK ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!" She screams back.
We both laugh and I give her the biggest hug ever.
"Thank you," I say sweetly and give her a kiss on the cheek.
"Anytime gorgeous girl," she replies.
We suddenly here the doorbell go off and we look at each other.
"I think your rides here Maddy." She winks.
