✨ Maddy's POV ✨
I get to school on the Monday pretty early to meet my girls. I can't wait to tell them about my weekend! Especially about Alex. Wait why am I so girly about him? I don't even know him!
I see Edyn, Abi and Elena standing at our spot whispering.
"Hey bitches! What's up? Where's Kenzie?"
Edyn's face immediately drops whilst Abi and Elena look sad. I immediately become confused.
"S-she h-hates me," Edyn bursts into tears.
"Hey hey it's okay! What happened gorgeous?" I say rushing to her and giving her a supportive hug.
She begins to rapidly let out about what happened on her date with Shawn and then seeing Kenzie.
I'm shocked. I thought after telling Kenzie that she will find someone better she would try to move on and support Edyn; not do this.
I immediately pull Edyn into a tight hug and the other girls join.
The bell rings signalling us to go to our classes and i regret already coming today.

I'm so glad I took art this year so then I could have some one to myself. None of the girls are in this class so I took the chance. Alex is in it though which for some reason I'm pretty happy about.
Today's class was just about sketching so I put my earphones in and listen to my music. Again Alex takes out my left earphone and pops it in his ear.
Lately I have been really into JP Cooper so we were listening to all of his songs and singing quietly together.

We both quietly laugh at the end.
"Maddy? I was wondering, um if you're uh free this weekend?" He stutters.
"As friends?" What the fuck is wrong with me? As friends my ass!
"Uh yeah sure." He replies.
Fuck my life. I just friend zoned him. Wait why am I so mad at myself about that? I don't actually like him more than that. Or do I?
"Oh cool. Um yeah I should be free." I give him a smile and he shares it back.
Boy his smile is so fucking cute.
It starts to become awkward but the bell saves us.
We quickly pack up and go our ways. Oh. My. Gosh! Alex just asked me out! I mean I accidentally friend zoned him... but still!
I run straight up to my girls and burst out what just happened in art.
"Holy shit babe! That's so good! I knew he had a thing for my baby," Edyn squeals out and winks at me once she finishes.
God I love her so much.
Elena has a shocked face and that just makes me laugh.
Abi begins screaming and dancing around me singing "Maddy's got a date!" I begin to blush.
If only Mackenzie were here...

School finally finishes and Edyn invited me to stay at hers. I patiently wait for her out the front.
"Come on Edos! Hurry up!" I mumble to myself.
Ethan appears out of nowhere and give me a hug from behind.
I nearly jump out of my skin and turn around to face the gorgeous boy himself.
"Hey there bestie! Long time no see!" Ethan says to me with a grin on his face.
"It sure has been a long time." I say more to myself than him.
"I heard you have a thing with Alex." He wiggles his eyebrows at me and I laugh.
"Not that I know of?"
"Oh come on Mads! I know you have a crush on my boy! I can see it." His face becomes somewhat serious and I begin to think; do I really like Alex or is it just a phase?
If I do, he probably doesn't like me back anyways. It's a lose lose situation.
"I guess I do E, but what if he doesn't like me back?" I look into his eyes begging for an answer I need to hear.
"I'm sure he likes you M. Just give him a chance. I better get going now, it was good to finally talk to my best friend again." He gives me a tight hug and lightly kisses me on the forehead. I wave him goodbye and Edyn comes walking down the stairs.
"Finally woman! I have been waiting!" I excitedly say to her.
"I was busy." Her cheeks begin to turn red and I wiggle my eyebrows at her.
"Oh more than busy I see." I wink at her and begin to laugh.
"Alright stop laughing at me, let's go before you make a scene." She hurried into her car and I follow along with a smile on my face. God I love to embarrass her.
