"Wait, so you're telling me you saw Levi?"

Alex whips her head around. I motion that I'll tell her in a minute. We're currently hanging out in the common area of our dorms.

There isn't anyone in here except her and I, everyone has classes. Perks of being in a couple of the same classes.

I'm going to be a photographer, but I didn't want to let my dance skills get rusty, so I enrolled in some here. It was just my luck that Alex was taking dance at this school as well.

We're technically supposed to be doing a dance assignment that we got paired up to do, but then Macy called on her break from work.

"I swear. It was Levi. Man, this can't be a coincidence. Mason, then Levi."

"We don't know for sure that it was Mason," I point out.

"Look, my point is that I'm absolutely sure that it was Levi. And that alone is pretty weird, considering the last time we saw them, they were in Italy."

I sigh. "Yeah, but Macy, that was three years ago. Anything can happen. Mason and I stopped talking , so I'm not sure if he's here in the United States or not. I mean, Tyrece visits Alex sometimes. But they're pretty much the only ones who kept in touch after Mason and I..."

I trail off, and I can imagine her curious face. "Yeah, what happened between you guys anyways?"

I shake my head, forgetting that she can't see me. "I don't really want to talk about it. It happened in the past, it should stay in the past."

"Yeah, anyways, I've got to go. See you later."

We hang up, and Alex looks at me expectantly. "What's going on?"

I sit on the couch. "So, Macy is sure that she saw Levi. She says it isn't a coincidence that I might have seen Mason while I was out with Oliver last night. That's pretty much it."

She nods. "You mentioned Tyrece."

"Oh, I was just mentioning that he visits you sometimes."

"Oh." She looks at her hands. "He hasn't lately. He's tied up in school. He's changed his major yet again, but I think he's going to stick with it this time. He's going to be a D.J."

I jump up. "Well, we should get started on our assignment. And then I need your help. I have to create a psychedelic picture. Not like the actual drug part of it. The hallucinations and weird part."

She stands and stretches. "Sure, what did you have in mind?"

I grin. "Do you mind being covered in gold paint?"

She looks at me weirdly. "Ness, I'm worried about you."

I roll my eyes. "I'll explain it later. For now, let's work on the dance."

Our song is Roses by The Chainsmokers. We have to choreograph a dance and then get a group of people together to dance to it. We have about two weeks to complete it, but we need to get started so we will have time to teach it to the crew we choose.

Fifteen minutes later, Michael walks into the room with Kayla. Kayla is an artist, and Michael is a film major.

He's the one that films most of our videos. He also dances, but he rarely does, because he likes being behind the camera more.

I've become great friends with him over the past year and a half. He hugs me, and then Alex.

"What are you guys doing?"

I pause the music. "Our assignment for Faraway's class."

He nods. "Hey, you guys know the dance you did for Touch?"
