Janessa:
"How many freaking werewolves are there here?" Macy asks as she rolls her eyes.
I put my phone down. I had previously been scrolling through my Instagram feed, but when Lucy told us about Blake, I shut off my phone. We finished our dancing for the day, so we're now hanging out in mine and Macy's room.
"Yeah, and don't you think that it's weird that Blake is okay working with Mason and the rest of the vampires? I knew that the two crews were okay, but I didn't think all vampires and werewolves were cool with each other."
Alex nods. "Yeah, I'll have to ask Tyrece about that later. We are going to a movie."
Lucy wiggles her eyebrows. "Ooh, a movie. And what about you, Janessa. Oliver was telling me some things about you guys and a relationship."
I roll my eyes and stand, grabbing my bag. "We were faking a relationship, one. We've been down that road before. Two, I don't have time to talk about this. I'll see you later."
They wave at me as I leave the room and the building, catching Michael on the way out. He hooks his arm through mine. "Where you off to?"
"The dance studio. I have a class today."
He nods. "Cool. And I am off to the Empire State Building. I've got filming to do."
I cock my head. "You're going to film off the top of the Empire State Building?"
We walk a little further away from the school and to his car. "Yeah. We're supposed to film from somewhere that makes us feel at peace. Some people hate the noise, but I hate the quiet. Listening to the bustle of the city let's me know that I'm not alone." He gestures to his car. "Get in, I'll drive you to the studio."
I get into the passenger seat, and five minutes later, he drops me off. I wave. "Thanks, Mike. Have fun filming."
He smiles before driving off. I head into my class and set my bag down. Stretching, I give the instructions for today.
"So, we're continuing what we were doing the other day, working with the same dance. Remember to make it your own."
We set off to work, me monitoring what everyone is doing, helping where it's needed. All is okay, until the class is twenty minutes in, and Mason walks in.
"Sorry I'm late," he says, clearly not sorry, by his tone of voice.
I roll my eyes. He was always one for dramatic entrances. "It's fine. You can help that side of the class, I'll help this side."
He looks at me weirdly, saying something with his eyes, but he turns before I can see what it is. Weird.
For the rest of the class, he ignores me as he teaches the one side of the class. When the class is over, I grab my bag and rush out of there, quick to avoid him. On my way out, I bump into someone. That someone happens to be Cameron.
He chuckles as I apologize. "Don't worry about it. I haven't seen you in forever."
I nod. "It has been awhile. What are you doing here?"
He points to the classroom. "I was waiting for Mason, but I can blow him off if you want to go get something to eat. So we can catch up."
I laugh. "That actually sounds great."
He smiles and grabs my hand, running out of the studio, me behind him. "Mason was about to come out of the classroom."
I nod. "Where do you want to go?"
Cameron shrugs. "Anthony and Ryan are at this Chinese restaurant. Angie is at the spa with Brittany all day, so Ryan decided to hang with Anthony and I. You want to go there?"
