After school I had soccer practice and then I was going to a party with Macy at Josh's house. This party had been planned since the beginning of the year and it is now May 23rd. I had just hoped I can get through the day without any problems. This day was going to be interesting. I just have a gut feeling about it.

"Ms. Johnson," my teacher asked me. "Are you with us today?"

"Yes Mrs. Blobber," I responded annoyed.

She had stared at me for a moment and then continues on with her class lesson for the day. I worried about her sometimes. She seemed so cool and collected, but one day I had seen her at the store and she had been crying about how her husband had left her.

After many boring minutes later, school had finally ended and I was free to go to soccer practice. If I had to choose one sport to play forever, it would be soccer. I'm so good at it, I had been moved up from JV to Varsity. I'm also Varsity captain. My co-captain is my best friend Macy. She's as good as me, sometimes even better. That's why I had personally asked for her to be my co-captain, because if there is one thing we agree on, it was how to make the soccer team better.

At soccer practice, Macy and I had noticed that we were the only ones there. Even the coach was missing. We had started getting worried and looked around. After about 30 minutes of searching, we had given up and sat down to wait for everyone.

"Lets just practice ourselves," Macy suggested. "It's obvious that no one is here to practice."

"Yeah, maybe we should," I considered.

"Now come on," Macy rushed me.

So we practiced until the bell announcing when after school sports/clubs were over had rang. Once the bell rang, the whole team had decided to show up; including the coach. Macy and I had just finished putting away the goals and put our soccer balls in our duffel bags.

"Sorry ladies," Coach Frown started. "We all got held up in our own work."

"Yeah. That's what happened. We had to finish our tests we missed." One of the soccer players, Chelsea I believe her name was, had said.

"It's okay Coach. We," I gestured to Macy and I, "Understand."

Macy had turned to the rest of the girls who were standing there waiting to hear that it was okay when it really wasn't.

"As for you 6 girls, next practice you have to jog 20 laps around the field. Then do 10 push-ups afterwards," Macy told them. "Next time, don't be late." She warned.

I smiled and had said my goodbyes to Macy and walked to my car. I put my things in the back and sat in the front and had begun driving.

The road had been strangely traffic free today. I didn't mind but it was weird. It's midday and the road is usually filled with traffic. Never has it even once been traffic free. Well, I guess there is a first time for everything.

When I had arrived home, no one was here. That's expected when your mother works as a full time doctor at one of the most famous and popular hospitals in the entire state. My father left us when I was about 2 years old. My mom doesn't really like to talk about him and I don't blame her. He writes letters apologizing and wanting to be in my life. I just throw them away without a second thought. If he wants to apologize to my mother and I, he can bring his sorry butt up here.

I went upstairs to my room and had gotten dressed to go out with Macy before the party. Macy and I were going to a movie before the party, so I had dressed casually and remembered that I had my black dress at Macy's house to change into for the party. As I was getting ready Macy had called and said we were going to eat at a restaurant first. You know what that means? That means we Dine and Dash. We only do it once a year, so every year we dye our hair so they could never recognize us.

I went to pick up Macy in my car and she had told me the restaurant we went to was 5 star. That means it had great food. Of course we couldn't pay for it. We ordered the most expensive things on the menu. When we finished our food and had asked for the check, we thanked the waiter. When he had walked away and was out of eyesight, I put $100 bill on the table and we walked out of the restaurant.

When Macy turned around she pulled me and we had started walking a little faster. I had been practically dragged down the sidewalk until Macy had yelled my name.

"Charlotte!" Macy yelled.

"What?"

"Run! They are following us," she replied.

I had turned around and saw that the police the restaurant had called were indeed following us. I pushed my legs to run as fast as they could.

"Stop and put your hands in the air!" a policeman shouted.

We had ignored them and kept running. We tried to confuse them by taking a series of random turns and were praying they weren't dead ends.

Soon enough Macy and I had ditched the police and were walking back to my car that was parked a block away from the restaurant.

"That was even more fun than last time," I said getting into the car.

"Yeah, because last time we weren't chased by the police," Macy retorted.

The drive to the movie theater was short because it was about 10 minutes away from the restaurant.

When we arrived at the movie theater, we took a look at the movie list to see what was playing. The options were 'God's Not Dead', 'Rio 2', 'Divergent', 'A Haunted House 2', or 'Transcendence'.  I looked at Macy and at the same time she looked at me.

"Rio 2!" we screamed. We loved Rio 1 and were excited they had made a Rio 2.

"Alright ladies, that will be a total of $10," the guy told us.

"Char, are you paying?" Macy asked me.

"I payed for our 'little dinner', so you pay for the movie."

"Alright," then she had faced the guy again, "Here you go."

"Thank you and here's your change ma'am. Enjoy the movie."

I had thanked him and we walked into the theater. Since we had already ate, we just headed straight into the theater where the movie was being played.

We sat down in our seats and the trailers had just finished and the beginning of the movie had just began. Macy and I had looked at each other with the craziest smiles and turned our full attention to the movie.
