I woke up to the feeling of someone pushing me. I opened my eyes and saw Kevin. I sat up and was wondering where I was until everything started to come back to me. Jason lied, Alex caught us, I kissed Kevin, Chelsea tried to fight me. Oh, and Kevin and Chelsea broke up. I groaned and sat up rubbing my eyes and letting my hair out of its bun and down my back into it’s brown curls.
“Hey,” Kevin smiled, “You’re up.”
“Well duh,” I rolled my eyes.
He chuckled at me and helped me out of the car. When he saw the confusion on my face he told me we were at a hotel in Missouri. I walked ahead with Kevin up to the rooms. Apparently while I was sleeping, they brought the luggage.
We were in the penthouse suite with a living room and four other rooms. Macy and I were sharing and Kevin, Chelsea, and Alex were getting their own. I walked into Macy and I’s room and saw her on the bed.
“They took my electronics,” she sighed.
“Even your phone?”
“Yeah,” she looked at me, “They took yours when you were sleeping.”
“You didn’t stop them?” I yelled.
“Don’t you think I tried?” she snapped.
“Sorry,” I sighed.
“It’s okay, I know you were just telling me.”
“Hey, and get this,” she gestured for me to come closer, “Someone back home is behind all of this madness. Alex would’ve never known about you if it weren’t for her.”
“Who?” I asked, sitting down next to her.
“Am-”
“Girls, come out of your room please,” Alex’s voice rang on an intercom in our room.
‘There’s an intercom in here?’ I thought myself.
Macy and I looked at each other and decided not to leave our room. If they want us so bad, they can come get us.
“So, what do you think they want?” I asked quietly.
“Who knows,” she sighed.
“Well maybe they-”
I never got to finish the sentence because Chelsea and Alex came barging into our room. Chelsea grabbed me by my hair and I was shouting profanities at her while Alex threw Macy over his shoulder and carried her.
We entered the living room in the penthouse suite and Kevin was sitting on the 3-seater couch on my iMac. Yes, MY iMac. He looked up at us and frowned when he saw me being dragged by my hair. He got up and scolded Chelsea for acting childish and whenever I laughed and snickered, she tugged on my hair and I would groan in pain which caused her another scolding like she was a toddler.
I eventually pried her hands from my head and kicked the back of her knees and sent her falling to the ground. She scowled at me and I smirked and blew her a kiss. She was about to grab my ankle until Macy stepped on her hand. Chelsea made an unattractive noise and Macy had walked over and stood next to me. We put our hands behind our backs and I quietly high fived her while trying to to laugh at Chelsea.
Alex cleared his throat after a moment.
“So, I guess you are wondering why we called you in here,” he voiced.
“Well make it quick because in three seconds i’m going to punch Chelsea in the face,” I snapped.
“Charlotte, I see you still have your anger issues. That’s not very attractive,” a female voice commented.
