A/N: This chapter is dedicated to @phnxrvnge for the amazing book jacket to the side. Thanks! Enjoy Chapter 8.
While we were driving we managed to stay at a hotel in Indiana. Jason, Macy, and I had to share one hotel room. When we had first walked into the hotel, I noticed that it looked 4 star. It wasn't bad, and it wasn't great which is was 4 star meant.
I went to sit down on the couch while Jason went to see if there were any rooms available. I pulled out my phone and had decided on playing that game everyone was obsessed with, Flappy Bird. This bird was ridiculous! I couldn't get it past the 3rd tube. So after I had about 37 tries, I gave up because I had knew that if I kept playing that game, I would break my phone. Half the time the bird didn't even tough the stupid tube.
I sat and pouted for who knows how long and then I saw a familiar pair of red and white carmine shoes. I had mentally rolled my eyes and looked up to meet none other than, Macy. I stared at her and she stared at me. I blinked my eyes due to boredom and was about to turn my attention back to my phone when she finally decided to speak up.
"Char?"
"What Macy?" I asked rather annoyed.
"I'm sorry about the whole Alex thing."
"No your not remember? You said you're sorry I was offended but not sorry you defended him. So you are not sorry."
"Charlotte, we've been bestfriends since we were 3. Are you really letting this bother you?"
"Yes Macy I am.You are taking the side of someone you've only know for 1 day over someone you've known your entire life. It hurts," I sighed.
Macy hugged me. I was stiff at first but then I slowly hugged her back. We stayed like this for a while until Jason had called us over saying that he'd gotten us a room. Macy and I pulled apart and I smiled at her.
"I forgive you. But don't ever hurt me like that again," I told her.
"I won't."
Macy and I jogged to catch up with Jason who had all the luggage. Macy and I took our luggage from him and we all headed to the elevator.
"What floor?" Macy asked him.
"10th floor," he had responded.
"How did you get a room on the 10th floor?" I asked amazed.
"A lot of flirting and persuasion can get you anywhere," he grinned.
I rolled my eyes and the elevator made a little chime which announced that we arrived at the floor. Jason walked ahead since he knew the room number and had the room key. I couldn't lie, I was staring at his ass. Macy caught me a few times and started wiggling her eyebrows which immediately cause me to blush.
We finally reached the room and I saw that the room number was 305E. 'Okay 305E don't forget that room'. I thought. We entered the room and when we did I felt very uncomfortable. There was only 1 bed and a pullout couch. I immediately ran towards the bed.
"I call bed!" I grinned triumphantly.
"I call pullout couch!" Macy and Jason said.
They both ran to it and guess who made it to the couch first? Macy did. I was smothering my laughter behind my hand because Jason turned so red I could've mistaken him for a tomato. He was looking back and forth from me to Macy. Macy and I looked at each other and then I saw an evil glint in her eye.
