School sucks. You're probably like, 'Duh! I could have told you that!'. But to be honest, I was hoping what everyone said about school was a lie, that it was actually great.
I soon found this out when in first hour I started dozing. Suddenly, there was a rap on my desk and I looked up, not startled at all. The teacher lady had a confused look on her face before composing herself.
"Is my teaching interrupting your nap time, Miss Alesecki?" she asks in a nasally voice. Her grey hair is pulled in a tight bun on the top of her head, her glasses resting on the tip of her nose, a ruler in hand.
I sigh before sitting straight in my chair, looking her straight in the eye. "Actually, you are. If you would mind keeping it down, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks." I slouch back in my seat, listening to the students in the room struggling to hold back their laughter.
She huffs and rushes to the front of the room, muttering, "I'm keeping an eye on that one," before continuing with her droning.

After class, I was being offered high fives, and I gave them. At my locker, I see Kameron standing with a boy, talking to him. When I reach them, her eyes light up. "Oh my God, Grace! I can't believe you told Mrs. Edgar off like that! That was awesome!" she says, raising her hand. I slap mine against it, not taking my eyes off the new guy.
He had a different smell than the other students I have came in contact with. He didn't really smell human, but not animalistic either. Strange. I let my eyes roam his appearance. He is wearing a grey Blink-182 T-shirt and a pair of Levi's. He has black hair that looked like he ran his hand through it several times. I would love to run my hands through them to guide him to my--
I snap out of that vision, surprised that I had it to begin with. He was a human for goodness sake! I would NEVER have a relationship with one of them. But something in my wolf told me to be wary. I look over at Kameron and raise my eyebrows in question before opening my locker and switching out my books.
"Oh, how rude of me! Grace, this is my friend, Jacob Marcus. He'll help you with your other classes. Jacob, this is the famous Grace Alesecki. New student," she announces. I don't know why I'm famous, but I don't ask.
I drag my hand through my hair and look up to see Jacob do the same thing. I laugh. He looks at me with a questioning look and I shake my head. I then grab a bottle of juice out of my locker and down it in one drink, throwing the bottle back in my locker.
"Dude!" Jacob says, hold his hand up. I was confused. It was a little bottle, anyone could down that. I belch and slap Jacob's hand. I guess girls don't act like that here, seeing Kameron with a look of amused disgust on her face.
Touching Jacob shot tingles up and through my arm, shocking me to the point where it almost hurt. I hear a static-shock sound from his hand, and I know he felt it too.
Shaking the feeling off, I wave at Kameron and head off with Jacob. "I like your shirt by the way," I tell him, tugging the sleeve of the fabric and letting go. He grins and I swear my heart stops. The smile lit up his whole face, something contagious. I smile a little.
"Thanks. They're one of my favorite bands," he says, looking at his shirt then looking back at me.
I shrug. "I don't really listen to music, but when I do, I listen to them and Fall Out Boy," I tell him truthfully. I listen to music, but not as much as human teenagers, and I have it turned down to where a human couldn't make out the words, only a tune.
"Really? I figured you as a heavy rock kind of girl. With your purple hair and everything." He pokes my head and tingles spread through me again.
"Ugh, this? I just did that because my parents were making us move. After my senior year already started! They piss me off sometimes. Scratch that. They piss me off all the time. Grr," I rant. I slightly growl at the end, but I cover it up quickly. I had this story prepared in case anyone asked where I came from or why I moved here. "I was born with a beautiful white-blonde head of hair and I officially ruined it." I mentally scoff. Like I care about my hair!
"Ugh, parents. I hear you. My parents are awful! But I won't rant because then I'll make you run away, and we don't want that to happen. Well we're here." He stops and points at a door to the left. "After you," he says, holding the door open for me. I thank him as he leads me towards the very back of the room.
Algebra. Easy-peasy. I was a natural at this, immediately understanding the concept. The class was given five packets to complete and I had them done with half of the class left. Not knowing what else to do, I look over at Jacob.
I can see the gears working in his head, a frown creasing his forehead. Oh, how I wanted to kiss the frown away. I shake myself from the thought. What the hell has gotten into me? I despise relationships between wolf and human. If he was even human in the first place. But why did my wolf not want to leave his side? It confused the hell out of me, which pissed me off. I hated not knowing what was going on.
Grumbling, I take out a clean piece of paper and start writing.

Sorry it was short again. But what is she writing? Will we ever know? Guess you'll have to read on to find out! And no, I'm not going to be one of those writers who requires a certain amount of comments or votes to continue updating. I don't even participate in those things.
Anyways, the picture is the shirt Jacob is wearing, if you haven't guessed. And YES, I changed his character! If you haven't read before this then you wouldn't know, AND I added Rodrick to the character list. He might have some persona later in the story.
And now I'm realizing that this is getting long.
Bye my penguins!!! (you guys are my penguins)
