Sorry it's been so long...Enjoy! :)

We drive in silence, slowly creeping along the gravel road. I look out the window and see a pure honey-blonde wolf creeping along in the bushes. There's only one pure honey-blonde wolf in our entire pack, which could only mean one thing. Cindi was back.

"Great," I mumble to myself, not wanting Jacob to hear but also wanting Cindi to hear. I can hear her growl in response and the wolf completely hides herself in the brush.

"Is this it?" Jacob asks, slowing down even more if that's possible. I look up just in time to see Cindi--in human form--run up to the front door. I nod, not wanting Jacob to hear the fury in my voice. The truck comes to a stop and I take a second to calm myself before opening the door.

"Uh, Jacob?" I venture. He turns to me and raises an eyebrow in question. "Thanks for the ride. I really appreciate it." He nods and I climb down from the truck. "And could you have Alex send my stuff home?"

He looks over at me. "Sure, I'll make sure to let him know," he says with a smile.

I grin back. "Thanks." I shut the door of the truck and head off into the direction of the house I walk in the door and close it behind me. I walk through the house upstairs to my room and watch for Jacob to leave. I wait for a couple minutes after he leaves to head back downstairs. I have to tell Beta Nathan what happened.

When I climb down the steps, I see Cindi blocking the door, a smug smile on her face. "Who was that, Little Wolf?" Little Wolf used to be the family's nickname for me until I was old enough to hear it as a joke.

"None of your fucking business. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to notify Beta about a little problem that doesn't concern you." I push her out of the doorway and shove the door open as I hear Luna yell about my language.

"Wow, Little Wolf, I didn't know you were grumpy today. I guess I won't leave you alone then," Cindi says. I swear I can hear the smirk in her voice. I ignore her as I shift and run towards the council building. I feel Cindi shift and I roll my eyes. Why can't she just leave me alone?

Come on, Little Wolf, what's wrong?

I continue to ignore her as I burst in the building, not bothering to shift back as I race my way upstairs. Beta! I call. The Alpha and the Beta don't have to be in wolf form to hear members of the pack, but they have to be in wolf form to speak back. I can feel him shift. Beta is Alpha with you?

No, Grace. What's wrong?

There was a Rogue at the school. Alex and I handled it and no one witnessed us shift but I needed to warn you. Alex is being stupid and ignoring me so I had to come to you personally. I reach the room Beta is in and shift back to my human form. I open the door and see Beta shift back as well. "I don't care what you're gonna tell me. You are telling Alpha, not me," I continue. "I am staying out of this. Oh and one more thing, he disappeared after we killed him."

Beta narrows his eyes at me. "Rogues don't disappear after you kill them Grace, it just doesn't happen."

I sigh at him and roll my eyes. "Like I don't know that! That's why I came here and told you."

"Watch yourself, young lady," Beta says, trying to sound superior. And to anyone else, he would. But the Alpha blood running through my veins was just annoyed. I would have used my rank to tell him off, but I was too frustrated to care at this point.

Steam practically billowing from my ears, I pull a blank face before addressing him again. "If I may be excused." I don't wait for a response before I exit the room and slam the door on my way out, leaving both him and Cindi speechless.
