Tadaaaa! I finally updated!
Awkward.
The atmosphere was awkward as hell. My body was stiffed as a board and the same goes to Aomine who was sitting right beside me with an uncomfortable expression set on his face.
Seriously, who wouldn't be? We were currently sitting face to face across my devil of a sister who's smiling sweetly it gives me the shivers, however, that's not what makes my sweat rolled off profusely or Aomine's constant fidgeting. It was the person sitting cheerfully next to Asuki-nee.
It was the presence of my mother sitting there with an enthusiastic smile directed especially to Aomine.
The surprise meeting with my mother was suppose to be full of joy and flowers in the background. It actually was on the first half of reunion not until someone decided to make a story.
And that someone was casually sipping her coffee while I sit here, with jumbled thoughts of murdering my own sister, escaping an interrogation session and wanting to watch the game.
I think I'm going to have a heart attack.
"So... Aomine-kun or... is that your first name?" my mother asked casually.
Aomine visibly flinched. I stared at him blankly.
Who would've thought that Aomine the great would act this jumpy? Where's the bad boy act?
"Ah-ah... I-It's my surname. My first name is Daiki," he stuttered, sweating uncomfortably.
"So how did you court my daughter?"
My eyes went wide and Aomine choked in his own saliva.
"WHAAT?!" I feel like ripping off my ears as the question replayed in my mind like a broken record.
I looked at my mom with the widest and biggest eyes I could muster, didn't really care if I looked like an owl with my mouth hanging open in disbelief.
"What? I'm just asking Daiki. I am just curious as to how he courted you. Imagine, someone has the guts to court and even tolerate your beastly attitude with no knowledge about romance and hasn't even had her first kiss. You always scare the guys off with just your eyes. And Daiki is handsome young man, Who wouldn't be curious?"
Oh my Ghad. Someone kill me now.
She turned back to Aomine. "Now...where were we?"
I facepalmed, rubbing my face afterwards. "Like I said, he is not my boyfriend."
My mother raised an eyebrow which means she didn't believe me.
It's no use. Explaining to my mother was like pleading a hopeless case. She just won't listen sometimes.
So how did I get myself tangled in this mess?
***Earlier...
"Whaaaat?!"
My sister gave me a pointed look. "What? I didn't get it. What did you say again?" I repeated and she just gave me a blank stare and turned her back on me.
"I'm not repeating it~" she sang.
And I couldn't help but sweatdrop while I followed her with a heavy heart. "So... where are we exactly going?"
"Be patient. We'll get there," she replied dismissively.
"This is not a prank, is it?" I narrowed my eyes as I stared at her back.
According to her, we were on our way to meet this absolutely amazing person who's the reason why I sacrificed watching a good match between Rakuzan and Shutoku. But I couldn't help but be suspicious, I mean with all the shenanigans she did, you're labeled crazy if you think she's normal and human.
