Late update. Gomen. I was really busy in school.

[ Chiyori's P.O.V. ]

My eyes twitched. "What did you say?" I asked as my patience was dangerously wearing thin by the second the longer I stared at my brother's excited face.

"We're going to have a practice game with the Kaijou basketball team. Yosh! I'm going to play against Kise again!" he yelled excitedly.

My ears perked up at the name. Curiosity rearing its head.

Kise? Who is that? Maybe an another strong opponent?

Realizing my thoughts, I slapped my forehead in disappoinment.

Nope, stop it Chiyori! It doesn't matter and most of all it's none of your business!

But the name sounds familiar. I think I heard it somewhere or from someone before and unfortunately, that someone might be my brother.

I facepalmed at the thought.

He's been mentioning lots of unfamiliar names lately...

Well, it didn't matter if he's good or what, I would only remember a player's name if I had seen him play in a match and of course, it would be a plus if he's a remarkable player.

"Yay~! I'm coming with you Taiga! Do you want to come, Chiyori?" Asami asked.

"No. I'm tired. I want to rest in peace," I said completely bored and stressed at the same time as I threw the bag over my shoulders.

"Are you sure? But I heard that their opponent is an amazing- "

"No," I immediately cut her off. "That's final and I'm not coming."

"Okay then, I won't force you, bye and don't forget to prepare dinner!" she waved her hands in the air and turned around, catching up to the team.

I gripped my bag tightly.

Must be nice...

Don't get me wrong. I extremely love Basketball. It's just that...

I looked up at the sky and sighed.

There was too much restrictions in my life that I kind of feeling suffocated.

*****

This isn't good...

I just got home and bought ingredients with the thought of making dinner as instructed by Asami but as soon as I reached my apartment, my feet betrayed me and brought me to bed.

I rolled back and forth on the bed until I decided to stop and stared at the ceiling.

I wanted to do something.

Something that would make my adrenaline rush throughout my body.

I wanted to feel the excitement rushing through out my body, the feeling of the rapid heartbeat, the sounds of the ball against the floor and the feeling of touching the ball with my bare hands as I shot it.

The loud cheering of the crowd...

But then among the crowd were my sister and mother. One sporting a sweet smile and the other a scowl so deep, it would be scary.

Way to ruin the moment. Why do I have to imagine that?

Facepalming, I stood up and looked outside the window.
