I sit in the Cimorelli living room, waiting for Lauren to come back. Blood dripping from right below my left eye. I kind of tripped and fell. More like faceplanted down a ditch and rolled into a tree. I'm kind of the clumsy type.
I was looking into Lauren's gorgeous brown eyes when I fell. She was talking about the partner project thing we have to do in English or something but I really wasn't listening anyway, I was too busy dying inside as I stared at her, hoping that she wouldn't catch me looking.
That's when I tripped over my own feet and rolled down a ditch and into a tree trunk. It hurt. A lot. But let me just say but when Lauren screamed because she was concerned for my safety, it sounded like angels.
---
"Holy crab! What happened to your face?!" Another girl walks in and I study her. She has emerald green eyes and she looks a few years younger than Lauren and I. "I-I...I fell down a ditch and rolled into a tree." I reply and she winces as she imagines that in her head. "Well Floor, do you know where Lauren is?" She asks and I raise my eyebrows.
Why does everyone think my name is Floor and why does this girl know who I am, kinda. I mean my name isn't Floor but she knows something.
"Flo! Here! I've got a wet cloth for your face...-" Her brown eyes meet the girl with the emerald eyes's eyes. "Oh, Hi Dani." Lauren says sternly to her. "Flo, this is my younger sister, Danielle but she like Dani better than her real name." She tells me and I nod.
"Hi, I'm Flo. Not 'floor'." I reply and Lauren begins to giggle before she gets hysterical.
"SHE CALLED YOU FLOOR?! HAHA." Lauren laughs and I roll my eyes. "S-sh-shup up." I reply, slapping her arm gently and I immediately feel bad. "Sorry." I almost shout and Lauren and Dani look at me. Lauren barely noticed that I slapped her and she actually didn't care.
"Well...Here." Lauren whispers before she sits on my lap and starts wiping my face. I fell excitement buzz up in my chest. "I think this is the worst injury I've ever seen a tree give someone." Lauren tells me and I start to laugh. Everything she says is just so cute and adorable and can she just kiss me. No? Okay I'm not okay with that but whatever.
---
"So like Flo, do you wanna be my partner for the English project?" She asks continuing the conversation we were having before and I furrow my eyebrows together.
"Y-you wa...na-na-na be my part-ner? Haven't you al-r-ready got one?" I stutter before a blush approaches my cheeks.
"I don't have one. I wanted to be with you but if you don't want to be with me then that's okay..." She smiles nicely at me and I literally feel excitement jolt around in my chest.
"I do want to be your partner." I tell her confidently without thinking. She smirks at me stupidly.
"That's the first sentence you've said to me without stuttering." She replies and I feel so embarrassed. I feel my face turn as red as the tomato that's on their bench.
"I-I-uh..."
"See?"
"Shut-u-u-up."
"Me? Shut up? Haha. Never." She launches herself at me playfully and we tumble over together. She's on top of me and her face inches away from mine.
I don't move, I just stare into her pretty brown eyes.
I can feel her warm breath upon my lips and I just want my lips to be against hers. I want to press her against the wall and make-out with her.
"Sorry," she whispers and I roll sideways. "Me too." I reply shyly.
Yeah, Lauren. I'm sorry I want to make-out with you. I'm sorry that you're straight. I'm sorry that I'm bisexual.
