Yeah, that pretty much sums them up.

These writers will demand your votes like a corrupt politician standing for elections.

Don't be them!

These people make me think, 'Say what? You're gonna demand for a vote like a bloody $#&%#, just who do you think you are, bossing me around like that, you know what? Just because you did that, I'm not gonna vote for the bloody chapter. Take that, bastard.'

If people like your book, they will vote, it's not like they get anything by holding their vote in! Don't demand votes and comments and whatever, that won't motivate a reader to vote and have the opposite effect, instead.

Boost their egos instead, go a little, 'I'm grateful et cetera, et cetera'. Works like a charm, I tell you!

Acting like a bloody hoodlum is the last thing that will get you votes and reads, so stay away from it.
