Chapter1:Hello?

sorry its takenawhile for an update been sick and had to catch up on school work but without further delay the next chapter to A Bird in The Quiver

-Artemis pov-
I wake up to my phone going off like crazy on my nightstand. I grab it and see my old friend Barbara Gordon is telling me to get to the cave now.  I quickly grab my Artemis Gear and head to the nearest zeta portal not before I look at my phone one last time and see that Barbara had messaged her again.

"Nightwing is calling for all Young Justice members says its important"

I run into the cave and find everyone getting put into teams for this important mission. I didn't think anyone noticed I was there until....

-Nightwing pov-
"Alright Batgirl and Red Robin, Blue Beetle and Kid Flash, Uh Wally and Superboy, Wondergirl and Mrs.M, and" I turn and look at Artemis standing by the zeta portal "Artemis and me" I look back at the group "alright everyone we have no time to waste I've already sent you all the directions to where we need to go now Bats get to your bikes and everyone else get to the bio-ship"

I run over to artemis and drag her over to my bike "us working together wont be a problem right? i can get someone else to work with me I me-"

-Artemis pov-
"NO!"way to sound cool Artemis " I mean no it wont be a problem working with you lets go" I wait for him to get on the bike and get on the back after him

"You know you can hold on so your safer"Nightwing said with his sly but amazing smirk

"Oh yeah" I wrap my arms around him as we start speeding out of the cave and onto the streets. There's just a feeling I cant get out of my mind I feel so safe holding onto him and so happy like there wasnt three months were we didnt talk and instead we talked the whole time during those three months. I feel myself start to relax a bit into him and I sit back up a bit.

-Nightwing pov-
I cant help but smile as Artemis is holding on to my mid-section. This is the girl I've wanted to date for so long but couldn't because my friend wanted her too, but now I may have a chance. If she even likes me....

"Hey..um Wing"I hear Artemis call from behind me

"yeah whats up art" I look at the E.A. Timer we have 10 minutes till we get to the location

"So...what happened during that three months"Artemis asked but she sounded scared

"I-uh" Shoot what do I say

-Artemis pov-
I want him to say he missed me but i also want him to tell me whos under that mask.

"I didnt do much just talked with wally about you and him" nigthwing sounded suspicious but he tried hiding it by sounding chalant

"oh that it?" please say something else

-nightwing pov-
I wanna tell her I missed her and who I am but I am just too scared"uh yeah thats it how about you?"

"I uh just came back and bought an apartment" She sounds so disappointed with my response I wonder why?

"Well our E.A. Timer says 5 minutes left so get ready alright" I'll tell her after the mission
