To find a bird part 2

-Roy pov-
I got a call this morning and Wally says Jade found Dick in Brazil. He said they will be coming to the cave in about an hour. He'll be staying in the med bay for a few days the way it sounds.
-Connor pov-
I walk into Artemis kitchen and sit beside Roy. It's nice and quiet like we both like it
"Alright you two spill why I just got a call from Jade saying her and Dick will be at the cave in an hour!"
Me and Roy look at each other I don't wanna tell her and I can tell he doesn't either.
"ARE EITHER OF YOU GONNA EXPLAIN YOURSELVES FOR LYING TO ME!"
I look at Roy again and see I'm crack s smirk he's not gonna try a smoke bomb is he? Sure enough he does...the smoke clears and Artemis has a arrow to Roy's throat
"Start talking Connor or he becomes a she!"
"Alright Artemis Dick got taken by Quinn and Ivy they took him to Brazil and tortured him they wanted info on batman but he wouldn't crack"
Artemis puts the arrow away and slips on her sandals.
Roy looks at me then at her "what do you think your doing?"
"I'm going to see my fiancé and baby daddy now either your coming with me or I'm driving alone"
I look at Roy and we both know she isn't bluffing "I'll drive let's go"
-Wally pov-
I'm standing in the cave with everyone else when I see a green arrow whiz past my head and into the wall beside me. Everyone gets dead silent.
"Next one won't miss Wallace and it'll be aimed lower too!"
I slowly look over and see Artemis standing next to two annoyed superheroes "he he hey Arty"
"Don't get arty me my fiancé gets kidnapped and you don't tell me!" By now she's face to face with me
"Please Arty calm down you need to stay calm"
"I have one question who really saw his red dot go off!" Who really did it? Batgirl said she did? "No it wasn't batgirl she was on the phone with me at the time"
"Really!"
"Yes really" Artemis looks around the room "Now who saw the red dot go off!"
"I did" we all look and see Cassandra holding up her hand "I saw the red dot I was messing around in the cave with Impulse and Blue Beetle when I saw the dot and called everyone"
Impulse stands up next "I was the one who called Wally first to tell him what was going on"
Blue Beetle stands up after him "I told batgirl cause I thought she'd know something"
Artemis looks at the three and signals them to come to her which they slowly do. But what she did next shocked everyone...she hugged the three of them!
"Thank you so much!"
The three looked at each other before saying welcome and walking back to there seats. We all just sat there for 3 minutes before talking normally again...that was until we heard the zeta tubes announce Jade and Dick's entrance.
-Artemis pov-
I heard the zeta tubes announce Dick and Jade and I ran to see them only to be met by Jade running with Megan to get Dick to the Medical Bay. I try to follow but Wally and Roy hold me back as Connor stands in front of me
"LET ME GO I NEED TO SEE HIM! I NEED TO to to "I slowly start to blackout and fall into Roy's arms.
-med bay-
I wake up to all the original team minus Dick and Batgirl standing next to me. They all look sad and look at me like someone died "What happened why are you all sad is Dick ok?" As if on cue Dick limps in with Jade and bouquet of flowers "what happened guys? dick?"
"Is it alright if we have some privacy guys?"
Wally looks at Dick before standing from his seat "take all the time you need"he kisses my cheek and pats Dick on the back as they leave. Dick sits in the seat Wally was and moves it closer
"These are for you" he puts the flowers on the table beside me "I got all of your favorite ones"
"Dick what's going on your never like this Remember get traught or get dead"
"I'm so sorry Artemis" Dick starts crying and puts his head in his hands "I'm so sorry I caused all of this"
"What happened Dick?"
"You got too stressed and...you lost the baby" Dick looks at me with sadness in his eyes "and it all my fault miss"
"No this is a sick joke Dick stop lying!"
"I'm not Artemis the baby died" I look at him fully and notice him taking of his engagement ring "you deserve someone who can take care of you I'm not him obviously I couldn't protect you and our baby I just made you lose it I want you to take this and give it to the man you need" he gives me the ring and runs out the door.
I look at the ring in my hand. I lost our baby but he thinks it's all his fault. I try to get up to chase after him but Roy runs in to keep me I bed "Wally and Connor are already after him" he looks at me then at the ring "he regrets what he said he told us on his way out but."
"But what Roy? but what?"
"But he didn't tell us where he's going or gonna do Wally is already checkin all the areas he knows about and Connor is right behind him"
I start thinking about where he could be and only one place comes to mind "The circus he grew up in its where he always goes when he needs to think or needs to get some time alone"
"Alright I'll call Wally no-"I grab his arm and look him in the eyes
"I'm going to go and get him not you, not Wally, not anyone on this team, he's my fiancé I'm gonna get my bird back" with that I get up slide on my shoes and head straight to the zeta tube and punch in the code to get to The circus Dick grew up in
-Dick pov-
I'm walking around the circus ground thinking about all the stupid things I said and just did "I hope she'll forgive me later"
"How about forgive you now" I hear a girl speaking from behind me I turn and see Artemis shivering behind me
"Are you crazy it's freezing out here" I take off my jacket and sweatshirt and give them to her leaving me in my tank top and pants "what we you doing here Mis?"
"I came to get my Boy Wonder back" she looks at me a holds out the ring "because your my bird wonder and I'm you arrow queen"
"I'm not just your boy wonder" she gives me a quick a confused look "I'm your bird stuck in your quiver" I take the ring out of her hand and wrap her into a loving hug with a kiss
"Now let's go home bird boy"
"I couldn't agree with that anymore"
I pick her up and carry her bridal style to the zeta tube and punch in the code for us to get home. Tonight it's just me and her and thats exactly what we need right now.
