-Artemis pov 2 weeks later-
I wake up in pain with IV needles sticking in me I look to my right and see Wally, Megan, Connor, Kaldur, Roy, Zatanna, Jade, and my mom all beside me....what happened...wait...OH GOD NO.
-Jade pov-
My sister just started crying..No balling her eyes out. What happened to her at that warehouse? I grab Wally and Connor and drag them to the hall.
"What do you need jade?"
"ANSWERS WALLY I NEED ANSWERS" Connor slowly steps in front of Wally
"I can show you your answers follow me" we go down the hall and we stop at a Intensive Care door.
"Is she going in there?" I'm so confused right now
Wally puts a hand on the door knob "no cause someone she loves already is" loves? Who is this boy? Wally opens the door and leaves me there in shock. My sister is in love with the original boy wonder. Also the guy who is hooked up to 20 different machines and 10 other things I don't know about.
Connor puts a hand on my shoulder an closes the door "she can't know" I nod my head in agreement and head back to Artemis with him.
-Connor pov-
We make it back to the room to see Wally, Roy, and Kaldur barely holding Artemis down to the bed.
"LET ME SEE HIM I NEED TO SEE HIM LET ME SEE MY BOYFRIEND"
I quickly join in on trying to keep her on the bed "can someone please calm her down?"
"We did I tried magic and Megan tried her telekinetic stuff nothing's working!"
Last hope effort"Jade pump some pain med into her"
Jade gives her some pain med and she slowly goes to sleep (or so they think)
"What is wrong with my daughter?"
"Miss Paula her boyfriend Nightwing is..."
-Artemis pov-
I am still awake barely the pain med is barley doing anything.
"Miss Paula Nightwing is in very critical condition they have him on 30 different machines....we can't let her know"
"Connor she just did Artemis open your eyes all the way i know your not out"
I open my eyes back all the way open "take me to him please"
They all look at each other before Roy moves toward me with a wheel chair.
"Roy what are you doing?"
"Wally would you wanna know but not be able to see the love of your life dying? Would you?"
Everyone falls silent as Roy pushes me to Dick's room when he opens the door all tears start to flow. He wheels me to the bed and I put my hand on Dick's chest "come on Grayson your supposed to be bulletproof you never get this close to death last time you were already up"
"I'll leave you alone Art"
I look back at Roy"thank you"
"Your welcome" He hugs me then leaves
I look at Dick and see his left hand is closed shut I slowly pry it open and see a picture of me and him in it back at Gotham Academy " we were supposed to laugh about this some day" I put on a small smile " I can't lose you Dick I just can't I love you to much" I put my head on his arm and start to cry when I feel a gloved hand on the top of my head.
"I love you too Artemis always have always will" No it can't be he's still asleep " now can i see my beautiful girlfriends face or do I have to die for that to happen"
I look up and see his signature smirk and smile back at him with tears still flowing down my cheeks " now arty I have a question"
"What is it Grayson"
"How did being Nightwing feel" God I've missed him
"It felt good but I think I'll leave it to the pro"
"Aw I thought we could have matching suits seeming how my blue and black one now as been stretched to fit you"

"It's alright Arty thank you for coming for me"
"I wouldn't have been anywhere else"
Dick moves over some and I slowly get up and lay on the space beside him. We get as comfortable as we can with all of our needles and tubes connected to us. Once we finally get settled we both fall asleep in the others arms.
-Batman pov-
"I told you Ollie he will always come back to her and she will always come back to him"
"Alright Bruce I trust him I'll tell him and Paula my answer is yes"
"Good cause I don't think it mattered anyways"
