-Dick's pov-
I keep hearing the guards talk about a female Nightwing using a bow and escrimas trying to find me. It's so cold in here I'm so beaten and bloody I feel like I was used like a piñata. The guards are gonna be coming in soon for their 'fun' time....Where is Wally...
-Wally's pov-
I'm hot on the trail of this new Nightwing look alike. This girl is so annoying she's way to smart it's like she knows the league......"hey Kent I think I know who our mystery Nightwing is"
-2 hours later at Dick's hideout-
"Are you sure she's in here Wally?" Why can't Conner trust me once in a blue moon.
"Yes she's here...I know she is she wouldn't be anywhere else" I hope I right.
-Artemis pov-
I finally have a lead on where Dick is the last thug I got told me everything I needed to know....I'm way to tired for thi.."no I need to find Dick I can't live without him."
"You can't live without food either Nightwing or should I say Artemis" I turn around and see none other than the clone of superman and the kid speedster.
"I'm just fine Wally I'm just trying to find the guy YOU GAVE UP ON" wow I really need sleep.
"I didn't give up on him I just...stopped getting leads the last one I got was that he was almost..."
"Almost what Wallace!"he better not say it.
"He was almost...almost dead" I feel Connor put a hand on my shoulder and he's still silent....
"Connor what happened to the leagues being involved?" He looks like he wants to lie but he wouldn't not to me at least.
"They pulled out of the search they are no longer searching for Dick Grayson.."
My heart just burst into a million pieces....then got rebuilt out of flames.
"I KNOW WHERE HE IS AND IM GOING TO FIND HIM RIGHT NOW NOW YOU CAN EITHER HELP ME OR NOT ITS YOUR CHOICE" wow I REALLY need sleep.
"Let's go."
"Wally?"
"Connor you dont have to come with us but me and Art are getting him back"
"I'll come but where are we going"
-Underground storage 4 hours later-
"Your sure he's here art?" I just give Wally the look we all give him and sneak to the door. It opens like the guy said slow and quiet now to get him back.
-Dick's pov-
I hear yelling and screaming and people fighting then nothing. I thought I had finally died then my door was broken down by Black Mask getting thrown threw it.
"Who's the hurt one now mask" why did I say that.
"Still you" with that he repeatedly hits me with his fist and shoots me in the abdomen once maybe even twice. The only part that really hurt wasn't the knife that got stabbed into my side. No what really hurt was seeing a hurt, tired, hungry, depressed Artemis being carried by Wally while Superboy took out Black Mask.
-Artemis pov-
I slowly get out of Wallys arms and make it to Dick....He doesn't look like him...he doesn't look like my man at all.
"Nnnnnnice ta ta ta to see ya ya ya you aggg again Artemis"I feel tears trickling down my face as he struggles to get words out. "Di di di did you Ge ge get the note?"
"Yes I read it too everything will be ok help will be here soon" I help superman get him down and hold him in my arms. " you'll be fine alright"
I go to grab my morphine shot so he won't feel the pain but suddenly I get light headed...he didn't.
"Remember what the note said Artemis Te Iubesc always" he closed his eyes as I fell over top of him.
-Superboys pov-
I pick up Artemis off Dick and look at Wally "it's still beating...just for how much longer...god only knows"
I pick up Artemis and see members from both leagues rushing in to arrest thugs and get to our fallen comrades. Out of all the faces I see M'gnn and walk to her and wrap her into a hug. I needed this right now.
-Wally's pov-
I watch them load up both of my friends one will be fine the other... I don't know. I feel Zatanna put her hands on my shoulders. I was gonna tell them I was we were together but now...now I may only get to tell one of them....come one wing she won't last without you she won't let herself.
