Movie Night

-Artemis pov-
I'm on my way to Dick's house for our movie night I got my pajamas in the back of my car and my Artemis gear there to just in case never know when you'll get called in. I just hope he isn't making a big fuss about this. I pull into a open spot and get my stuff and find the code and key I have to get up to Dick's room.
-Dicks pov-
I am running around in my boxers trying to find my pair of green sweatpants and my green dri-fit shirt. I finally find them in the bathroom and am putting on the pants as I hear the door to my massive apartment open. I peek my head out to make sure it's Artemis and not so lucky fan trying to meet the son of a playboy. As soon as I see her I slide back into my bathroom to put on my shirt.
-Artemis pov-
I walk into Dicks massive apartment and see him slide his head back into his bathroom. I walk in and see all my favorite movies sprawled out across a big coffee table and bags of popcorn that have yet to been popped beside the movies. I walk toward the bathroom and see Dick dressed in all green and I try to hide a chuckle as I see him.
"What's so funny can't a boyfriend dress up in his girlfriends colors?" He says all of that wit his signature lady killer grin.
"I don't know" I pull out my blue shirt and black sweatpants " is it wrong for a girlfriend to dress in her boyfriends colors?"I laugh and push the now pouting Dick Grayson out of the bathroom"nice try!" And with that I close the bathroom door.
-Dicks pov-
While Artemis is changing I pop a couple of bags of popcorn and put them in a big bowl. By the time in done with that she's already ready to start a movie.
"What do you wanna watch first Mis?" I ask her holding up a couple different movies.
"How about.....Star Wars episode 1 then we can watch the rest"she looks at me and I nod in a agreement as I put in the movie.
*tiiiimmme splllliiit*
The Star Wars movies are all over and Artemis is leaning her head on my shoulder. I can't help but smile at the sight of beauty I see.
"What are you smiling about boy wonder?"she looks up at me with a confused expression clearly on her face.
"Just the fact the most beautiful woman is right beside me right now"with that one moment she is smiling and it's all happy then ...
Bang bang bang
Gun shots ring through the house and the Windows all shatter. At some point I completely covered Artemis with my body. An at another some point one of the bullets got me in my arm.
-Artemis pov-
I see a hurt expression on Dicks face and the feel a liquid fall on my leg. The gun fire stops and nothing happens for a good 5 minutes before we move. I look at Dick and see his green shirt has another color on it and immediately I go to touch it and he stops me.
"I'm fine Mis just a bullet wound barely can feel it"he try's to grin but can tell I'm not buying it "alright alright."
He takes off his shirt and I see the blood staining his back and the bullet hole. I grab a knife from close by and fish the bullet out safely.
"Got any gauze?"he better have some
"Uh yeah under the couch it usually where I crash at night"so he isn't a complete dunce
I find it and wrap his arm and we both get up and go to his room. As heroes this isn't anything to scare us that bad. He quickly calls Bruce and tells him what happened then we both lay in his bed and fall asleep. I feel so safe in his arms. And I hope nothing or no one try's to change that......
