Butch
     (Once again not my drawing)
It was noisy, completely rambunctious. I had to stand around and wait. Ugh I hate waiting. Could this be any worse? Gah, I hate grocery shopping, I only com here when I run out of food in my dorm. Living in your own dorm has its ins and outs. I was still waiting for this 30 feet line to let up. Ok, I may be exaggerating, it's a 20 feet line. I was waiting, more like playing on my phone, when a soft touch tapped me on the shoulder.
"Oh, hey Butch." the person said, completely surprising me. I jolted, and happened to drop the packets of gum. I bend down to pick them up, until I felt a soft, gentle hand on mine. "Oops, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." She said, retracting her hand back as fast as she could. She then collected some of the packets of gum that was near to her, and handed them to me. I finally got to see who it was.
"Oh Katie! Hey what's up? You didn't scare me, I never get scared." I said trying to be smooth. Did I mean trying? I meant I am smooth.
"Ok, whatever you say Butch. Anyway, I wouldn't imagine, 'The Great Butch' going grocery shopping." Katie said, using the apostrophe's with her fingers. "Oh yeah, well the thing is I need to eat something in my dorm. So I decided, hey why not get some groceries to cook something up?" I said smirking like it's the most obvious thing in the world. Katie rolled her eyes at me.
"I can help whoever is next." The cashier said looking at me. "Well this is my cue to go, wait, are you going to the party tonight?" I asked inside I was literally begging her to say yes. "Oh, I don't think so." Katie said, looking down. "What? Why not? Chicken?" I said playfully, getting Katie to smile. "Don't worry, it's ok to be afraid to come to a party. I guess I'll just have to find someone else to go with me." I said sighing heavily in a playful way. I went up to the cashier who was waiting.
After I payed and everything, I looked back to see Katie, but she disappeared. I looked around to find her, but I couldn't see her anywhere. Disappointment filled my eyes. 'Oh well, it was worth a try.' I thought sadly.

It was time for the party, I dressed up looking presentable. Checking myself in the mirror one last time, I was satisfied with how I looked. As I was headed to my car, I spotted a couple sitting by a tree, looking up at the sky. As, I watch from afar, an image flashed flashed across me. I was holding a girl in my arms, and we were sitting next to the same exact tree the couple was at, watching the sunset. I couldn't see the girl's face, the image was fading before I could grasp her. The only thing that I got to see was her hair, and it left me in shock.
I shook my head, clearing it from the image, and got into my car. I was headed towards, Buttercup's dorm, to find her already outside, in a pair of jeans and a button down shirt. "Wow, you look manly as ever." I stated as she got into the car. She rolled her eyes, "Don't worry about me princess" "Princess? That's new." I said, driving out of her dorm and to the house.
"Well the more I see you, the more I realize, 'Wow that muttonhead, gets what he wants, who he wants, and how he wants it. Just like a princess." She looked at me smirking. This time it was my turn to roll my eyes. The car got silent, which was unusual since we always spoke through the silence.
" Ok what's bothering you?" I asked breaking the silence. "Huh what?" She looked at me confused. "I mean what is going through that little brain of yours?" I asked. "None of your business, I know that." She said crossing her arms over her chest. "Well, if you want to talk about it, you know I'm here." I told her sincerely, looking at her once we parked at the house. There were loads of people in the house.
She looked at me surprised, "Really?" "Nah, I'm actually good." I said smirking, while flicking her nose. " Gosh, you're such a douche." She exclaimed getting out of the car, making sure to slam the door hard. I followed after her into the jam packed house, still crossing her arms over her chest.
"Yo, bro, glad you could make it!" Boomer said giving me a bro hug, "Oh what's up Butter how are you doing?" He said giving her a fist bump. "Nothing much, where's my sisters and the drinks at?" She asked looking around. "Ah, that's the Buttercup I know. They're all in the kitchen." He said pointing to the door behind her. She gave me a look and I nodding, she walked away towards the kitchen.
"I can never understand how you guy do that through the eyes, it's like you have a power to read each other's minds." Boomer said sarcastically since we have powers. I smirked,"Nah bro. She knows what I usually want. We went to enough parties to know what each other wants," "Nice bro, anyway, so you know that new girl." Boomer said, getting my attention already. "Yeah, what about her?" I asked excitingly. Boomer gave me a weird look, and I instantly caught myself, "Ahem, I mean yeah, what about her?" "Well, I see what's going on between you two. Both of you seem closer than what I've imagine." I smiled sheepishly. "Bro no way, you're not going to break her heart right?" He said curiously. "What no, never. She's different." I said looking towards the door.
"Hey, look who decided to show up." I see Brick coming around the corner. "Hey bro, how are Bloss, and you packing up?" I asked. "Don't get me started. It's so hard, since she is such a neat freak." Brick said while rubbing his face. I patted his back.
We kept talking and talking until the whole house got silent and it was just a soft mellow music coming from the DJ booth. "Dude, why is everyone so silent?" Boomer asked looking around, and noticed everyone staring at the front door.
I made my way to the front door, to have my entire body frozen up, with my jaw dropping to the ground.
In front of me, was the most amazing girl I have ever seen. Her face, was like a princess, with little eyeliner, and lipstick, just to fit her face. Her dress was a sparkly silver, that showed every curve of her body perfectly. She was a princess in the light.
When she saw me with my jaw opened. She came towards me, walking, or more like gliding. "Close your mouth, or you'll catch flies." Her voice sounded smooth and silky. I shut my mouth slowly, while she pressed herself against me.
My hands instantly went to her waist, so I could hold her there. I felt numb, my mind was racing, but my heart? It just kept beating normally. Was that suppose to happen? Oh well who cares.
"You know, you should keep yourself in check lover boy. Butch jr. isn't getting any smaller down there." She said into my ear. Then all to suddenly, she pulled herself back and walked off. I stood there stupidly with my hands in the air, suprised. Then I looked down, and noticed the tent in my pants, I noticed everyone looking at me.
"Hey princess, here's your dr-" I interrupted Buttercup and pulled her to me giving her a hug. "Shhh, don't say a word." I told her. When everything was back to normal, I was still holding Buttercup, who was completely still. "I need you to lead my to the bathroom." I told her. "What why?" She asked softly. "Just do it, and don't move." I said not wanting her to know about the tent in my pants, but sadly Buttercup had to move around and accidently touch it with her stomach. I felt her stiffen in my grasp.
"...wher..did..y.." She asked fumbling with her words. "I'll tell you later, just lead me towards the bathroom, please!" I told her. With that she took my hand.
After a couple of minutes of relaxation, I was calm. Ahem I don't need to go over the details and such. When I walked out, Buttercup was standing near a wall far from the bathroom, awkwardly. "Ok one, it wasn't from you." I said startling her. "Oh my, Oh Butch." She said looking anywhere but me. "Hey, I told you, it wasn't from you." I said looking around to see people dancing. She looked relieved but also a bit sad? "And secondly, Katie is here, and damn she blew me away." I said remembering how she looked, while I glanced at Buttercup's horrified, to-much-information face.
"Okay, no not like that. Buttercup, that was all you not me. I simply was talking about how she looked and how I got the thing, nothing else." I said recovering my tracks. She sighed and just told me to shut up. "This is never going to be brought up again, deal?" I said, to embarrassed to do anything.
"Ha, deal. Now come on let's do beer pong. Like we usually do." Buttercup said leading me towards the ping pong table, until I spotted the ultimate beauty coming from the dance floor. "Uhm, actually I see Katie, I'm going to go join her on the dance floor." I said letting my hand go from Buttercup's. "What? Wait, Butch come on, don't we usually do beer pong before anything else?" She said trying to make me come with her.
"Buttercup, you know how much this means to me. You even asked me if I ever fell in love what would I do. So, please Buttercup." I said looking at how the rhythm of the music filled Katie's body. "B-bu-but Butch, I thought that even if you were in a relationship, it wouldn't ruin our friendship?" I feel Buttercup's gaze on me while I still was hypnotised by Katie's body . " It's not ruining our friendship, I'm still here whenever you need me right?" I said still looking at Katie. "But I need you now." Buttercup said looking down. "Buttercup, you have your sisters here, why not talk to them? Please let me go." I said dropping Buttercup's hand, and rushing to get on the dance floor, closer to Katie.
"Thanks Buttercup, I knew you would understand!" I yelled looking back at her, to see her face fallen. She'll get over it, she always lets me go and hang out with other girls, so why is this any different?
