* Sorry for not updating last weekend, somethings came up. I just want to take the time to say Thank You to all my supporters. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be writing this book. With this Oscar, I'd like to thank my family, supporters, and so many other people.* Teehee anyways, thanks guys so much :D.

After speaking with Buttercup, I felt even more confident. Even though our chat felt a little one sided, I'm glad she's happy for me. I hope it doesn't get awkward with Katie. What if she rejects me? Oh no, what's my backup plan? Dang it, and it's not April 1st so I can't say that. 'Calm down Butch. If Buttercup didn't think it was weird, then it shouldn't be weird with Katie.' I thought, keeping myself confident.

I ran all the way to the park, I told Katie to meet me there, which is where I'm planning on surprising her. I'm a little soaked from the rain, but it's calming down a little. Luckily there is a small beautiful shack that is near the playground. When I reached the shack, I already saw Katie's back towards me, she was holding her umbrella waiting for me.

I ran up from behind her and whispered "Hey." Katie gasped and quickly turned around, facing me. "Butch, you scared me!" She exclaimed, "So what was this surprise you were talking about?" I smiled the biggest smile I could. "Katie, when I first saw you I couldn't take my eyes off of you. As we grew closer together, I realized something," I took a breathe, gently placing my hand on her cheek, "I love you, and it would be an honor for you to become my girlfriend." Katie's eyes lit up and her smile was shining at me. She was nodding her head rapidly. "Yes, I would love too!" She said hugging me close. I heard the rain slowly coming to a stop, but the sun wasn't shining like I was hoping it would. I buried my face between her neck, all I could smell was perfume, not like Buttercup's natural green apples scent. I didn't care, I loved Katie and that's all that mattered. We both stared off into each other's eyes, slowly leaning in. Our lips were closing in, and when I felt her lips on mine, it felt...good? I mean it felt normal like all the other girls I kissed. Was this suppose to happen? No, Katie is the one for me. This felt wonderful, I can feel her lips on mine and it feels great. As we break apart, I see hesitation cross Katie's eyes, but as soon as they came they went.

"So boyfriend, where should we go for our first date as a real couple?" Katie said smiling as we walked out from the shack holding hands. "Well I thought we could go out for lunch." I said, there was a nearby dine in near the park that was walking distance. "Sweet, I was getting a little hungry." She said as we made our way in. I couldn't help but get a feeling of sadness or remorse within me. I felt like my mind was nagging me about something but I don't know what it is. I shook the feeling out and decided to enjoy my time with my girlfriend.

We headed out from the dine in, laughing and having a good time. "So, that's how I fell in front of millions of p-" I was saying until I was  interrupted from my phone. I look at my phone to see it was Mitch, I answered it, "Hey, man I'm kind of busy right-" I said getting interrupted again, but the next two words got my attention, "Buttercup's leaving." Mitch said, "Wait what?!" I exclaimed, my heart stopped right there and then, "She's at the train station, she's leaving in 10 minutes." That's all I needed to hear before taking off with Katie. I used my super speed and reached the train station.

"Butch! Where are you taking me? You can't just go off like that without warning me." She said fixing her hair. I was trying to search for Buttercup within the crowd. "Sorry, it's just that Buttercup leaving and I can't let that happen." I said trying to search very hard for Buttercup. "Train 140; California, will be leaving in 8 minutes." The announcement said. I then remember my brother saying that they will be near the professor, who lives in California. I rush to get to the train, "Buttercup! Buttercup where are you?" I yelled trying to see Buttercup through the windows. "Butch, I'll search the other part of the train ok." Katie said, I replied with a quick ok.

I couldn't stop the waterfall of tears coming from my eyes. I never cried this hard before. My eyes were puffy and red, my nose was running and my whole body was burning up. I know leaving without saying goodbye is not the way to go. I just can't bear to see my first love, knowing he doesn't love me in that type of way. "Buttercup! Buttercup!" I hear my name coming from outside. I turn my head to see Butch searching the train, he spots me, I see his face turn all anger and sad. I quickly wiped my tears away, so it looked like I wasn't crying. I looked at my blue duffel bag and started to push it up on the ledge, until I felt a warm soft hand stop me from doing so.

"Buttercup, what the hell are you doing?" I turned to see Butch holding my bag. "Butch, I have to go back home." I said my voice was soft yet scratchy from all the crying I've been doing. "You're not leaving until you finished your exams." Butch said taking my bag, and slowly walking towards the doors. "Butch, I have to go." I said trying to reason with him, not really in the mood to fight. "Not until you finished your exams." He said still slowly headed towards the door, "Butch, my dad is sick, he needs me." I said, he tensed and slowly turned to me. "And I don't need you? What about me, Buttercup?" He said, "Fine." Dropping the bag he turned and walked out of the train.

"Butch, I'm going-" I said,"Then go." "Butch, I-" "I don't care, ok, just go." With each step he took, and each word he said it felt like my heart was slowly breaking once again. I heard the warning train horn, indicating the train is about to leave. I saw Katie, standing there with tears in her eyes. She looked at me, I knew she would be perfect for Butch. I smiled softly at her. Telling her, good luck with my eyes. As train horn rang one last time and the train slowly moving, I saw Butch slowly turning with wide eyes, realizing I was serious about this.

I heard him whisper something under his breathe and start to chase me. "Buttercup! No Please don't leave me! Who will I play basketball with?" He said catching up to me as I stayed next to the train's door. "Why, you'll lose anyway. Plus go annoy Katie now, I'm tired of it. " I said jokingly with tears in my eyes. "Buttercup, I'll miss you, you're my best friend." He said, slowing down since the train was catching up speed. He held out his hand. "I'll miss you too." I said reaching down and touching his hand, feeling the sparks for one last time. As the train picked up speed, I saw Butch dropping to his knees panting with tears in his eyes. The doors to the train closing, shutting me from my past.
