Laila's POV

I was running around a park, getting some exercise, when a blonde girl ran past me.

"On your left." She had a English accent.

"Thank you for the warning." I replied.

*mini time skip*

"On your left."

"On my left. Got it."

*another mini time skip*

I looked behind me. Ms. English was again about to pass me. "Don't you dare say it."

"On your left." She smirked.

"Oh come on!"

*yet another mini time skip*

"Need a medic?" She asked.

"I need a new set of lungs." I gasped. "You ran like 13 miles in 30 minutes."

"Must have gotten a late start."

"Not funny. You should run another mile. You just ran that mile, didn't you?" She laughed and offered her hand. "What's your name?"

"Laila Lokidottir. You?"

Gabby's POV

"Laila Lokidottir. You?" She was probably around 13 years old. Norwegian accent, so she's from Norway. Lokidottir. Loki daughter. She's a demigod, like Thomas. Probably knows him to. Thor son and Loki daughter. Judging by her body language, she trusts me. She's also looking for someone.

"Gabrielle Carter-Rogers. The-"

"Daughter of Captain America and Agent Carter. Arthur told me about you." She laughed.

"How do you know Arthur?" I asked reaching for my charm bracelet. Mainly the American flag charm.

"Lukas introduced me to him! Ah, I miss Lukas."

"Lukas? As in, Lukas Bondevik? As in, Norway himself?"

"Yes!" Then I got a text.

"Well, it was nice meeting you, but I have to go."

"Tell my cousin I said hello."

"What?"

"I know that you know Torvald Thorson. Although, he likes to be called Thomas. Anyway, good luck, Agent America."

"You ladies know where the museum is? I'm here to pick up a fossil."

"That's hilarious, Nathan." I said, getting into the car.

"Fury said that he needed to speak with specific people."

"Will Thomas be there?" I asked.

"Of course. Why do you ask?"

"Someone asked me to give him a message." I smirked.
