"Jasmine"

*Snores*

"Jasmine"

"JASMINE ANNE, WAKE UP" My mother screams up the stairs after my many attempts to ignore her and the day ahead; My first day at Holmes Chapel High School.

"I'm up" I scream back as i swing my legs over the side of my bed. I look up around my plain cream walls, wanting to cover them in photos of my friends back home, the boxes in the corner of my room being illuminated by the sun opposite them. I stand from my sitting position and walk into the bathroom across the hall from my bedroom. My shower was longer than I expected as I stood under the water, just letting the steaming hot water hit my back, calming my nerves.

I decided on wearing a pair of light wash jeans, brown combat boots, and band t-shirt and a white sweater. As it was Autumn coming into Winter I wanted to dress warm. I left my black hair natural, in soft ,light waves, sitting mid back length. I decided on wearing a full face of make up as i'd started breaking out from the change of weather. I used my MAC Studio Fix Foundation, setting that with me MAC Skin Finish Powder, Mascara on my eyelashes and Lip Balm on my lips. Once satisfied with my 'look' I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs for breakfast.

I'm hit with the smell of Pancakes, Orange Juice and Bacon.

You see, my Mum has this thing, when ever something new happens or we have something to celebrate, she goes all out. Feasts, all out. This is one of those 'feasts'. I'm welcomed into the kitchen with Blue Berry Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon, Hash browns, Mushrooms, Orange Juice and most importantly, Coffee. I cannot start my day without a cup of coffee.

"You really went all out, didn't you , Ma?" I asked as I shoveled Bacon onto my plate before eating the delicious food.

"You can't start a new school without a proper breakfast" She said as she look a sip of her coffee and checking her watch. "Speaking of school, you're going to be late if we don't leave now."

Groaning, I swallow the last mouthful of my coffee before standing up, grabbing my bag and making my was out to the car, my Mum following in tow.

The drive to school was short, too short. No one spoke, so I took that time to look out the window, taking in my new surroundings. As we pulled into the parking lot, I looked up at the massive school, a 3 storey, Brown brick building, just calling my name. Ready to destroy me.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by my Mothers voice, "Ready?"

A laugh escaped my mouth, "Not at all"

Does walking into a building full of students always feel like you're doing the walk of shame? All eyes on you? People whispering things to each other, or pointing at you? I don't think I've ever felt so judged in my life. No one looked at me for more than a minute though before everything hushed down. The crowd splitting through the middle, students sticking to the lockers like glue.

The murmuring stopped and it became silent, the only noise of those few knocking against the lockers and the sound of hard, slow footsteps from behind me. My body froze, suddenly terrified. It seemed as soon as I froze, so did the footsteps.

That's when I heard it, the voice that'd before my worst nightmare. It was deep, slow, raspy and had a strong British Accent, it made my heart race, only after one word.

"Move."
