Harry's P.O.V.

"Harry, it's him" Jasmine says with pure horror in her voice. I was too worried about her to look at the figure until now.

I'd like to say I wasn't surprised when I saw him but I was, because she remembered him over me. Although by the fear in her voice, I knew I was still winning.

"What the fuck do you want, Zayn?" I asked with a harsh venom tone in my voice, as my hands curled into fists as best as they could with Jasmine's hands in them.

"Just checking the damage," Zayn said as his eyes basically ate Jasmine. My anger was rising and I knew now was my moment to teach him a lesson. I stood up from my seat and moved until I stood, towering over Zayn.

"I suggest you, fuck off" My fists closed tighter and the muscles in my arms were contracting as the adrenaline started pumping through them.

"You can't always protect that bitch, Haz. I mean you didn't when, you know.." Zayn chuckled at the effect he had on me, something he shouldn't have, but that was the last straw. I looked over at Jasmine's watching eyes, giving her a sympathetic smile before turning back to Zayn and colliding my fist with his jaw.

"You asshole," I yelled as I threw another punch at him.

He started to hit back, which made it hard for me to hit him, but I still tried. I managed to get on top of him on the ground where my fists had a clear shot at his face.

I heard my name being screamed from behind me, but my adrenaline ignore it, helping me carry on.

"Harry, stop! You're killing him!" I heard the same voice scream, which made me stop straight away. I looked back to where the voice came from, realizing it was Jasmine, then back to Zayn's unconscious body, before scrambling off of him.

"Jasmine," I said between breaths.

"Let's go" She said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the diner and away from the curious crowd.

The ride was quiet, the only sounds audible was our breathing and the soft hum of the radio.

"Thank you, Harry" Jasmine whispered, breaking the silence.

I looked at her with surprise in my eyes, "No problem."

Another silence washed over us until I broke it again.

"Do you want me to take you home, or do you want to come over?" I asked with caution of being rejected.

"Um, can I come over?" She asked in a shaky voice.

I nodded to her, looking over at her with a smile on my face.

I didn't understand how she was still able to put up with me when she had her own problems. The truth is, I've never been this happy and sometimes when I catch Jasmine looking at me with that goofy, beautiful smile on her face, I can tell she's just as happy.

I know things won't be the same, but I'm determined to help her and have her be mine again. I don't care how long it takes, she's like a drug to me. I ca't be without her for too long, and when I'm with her, I want more.

As much as I hate to say it, she's my drug and I'm addicted to her.

I pulled into my driveway and I was reminded of the day when I brought her here unconscious. I know she wouldn't remember, and I'm glad she won't, because that was just as horrible for the both of us.

"You coming?" I heard her sweet voice speak, knocking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah," I sighed before following her suit and opening my door.
