My Runner pt.2

Newt POV:

I don't want her to be a runner. I know this sounds bad but maybe she won't like it. I just don't want her getting hurt or worse killed. Maybe I can change her mind about it.
"Oh and uh Y/N just for extra information no one had ever survived a night in the maze. Sure we don't run at night but if you don't make it before the doors close then you're pretty much dead" I said trying to change her mind.
" so I've heard." She said nervously "but if I just stay with the kid with the great hair, Minho is it, at all times then I'm sure I'll get out alive since he is everyday" she said reassuring.
"Besides this is just for tomorrow. Who knows I might not even like it".
"Okay. Yeah. I just don't want you getting hurt" I said without thinking.
"But why. You barley know me. I barley even know myself" she's right. When I first saw her though it was love at first sight. Well for me. I really doubt she likes me. If anyone she probably likes Thomas. I don't blame her though. He is a good looking guy.. I totally forgot her question and just went back to work.
