Day 1
What's in a diary, huh? What's the point of writing one? My birthday had just passed and this diary was wrapped in a box. Whoever gave it to me must have thought I was a huge dork or something. But seriously. Tell me what in the world is the point of this diary? I have better things to do than just write my life in a book. Why do people do this?
Let me start things off by introducing myself. Why don't you go ahead and get to know me, book. The name is Avery. Avery Elaine Collins. I am thirteen years old, and in the seventh grade. I have one older brother, one little sister and brother. My parents are both busy people, therefore, they don't have time for me or my siblings. My father is a manager of a well known retail store, and my mother is a nurse.
I'd go further, but I don't have the hand energy to write all that. That's a heck of an excuse. Anyways, today was absolutely dramatic, school is always like that. When you first step on school grounds, you immediately step into a dramatic movie. You're immediately an actor or actress. You're either the protagonist or the antagonist. There's always a part specifically made for you.
I go to school at Ten Oaks Middle and that's the number one place that I know that has a lot of drama. Since I'm in the seventh grade, also known as the middle grade, or the worst year of middle school, my grade is filled with so many things that you don't even know. You have your queen barbies, Sassy Sarah Wilson, (she claims to be the granddaughter of the Wilson sports brand), Reese's Pieces Rebecca Brett, the only person I know who can eat as much candy as she wants without having any cavities or tooth aches, and the queen bee of them all Adrianna (or as she prefers to be called Addy) Ellis.
Well that's all for today, dinner awaits for me.
Sincerely,
Avery
