Day 5
In history class, I figured out some news from Addy, there's a girl from her old school who will be transferring to our school. The worst part? That girl hates me. She hates the heck out of me. I don't want to care, but I have to, she may be put in my homeroom or my classes. I pray, I pray, please no.
Reading three pages in my history book is impossible. The words are tiny, the paragraphs are long, it hurts my eyes. Especially the lack of pictures, I thought this was history, we need visual pictures!
Chase acts weird behind me all the time, and I kinda am used to it, not to mention we are close. Chase always looks at me, when I'm probably not looking. I look at him all the time because he's one of the weirdest people I had ever met. But then again, I like him, a lot.
Our history teacher is one of the boring-est teachers of all time. You don't want to know how many times I fell asleep in her class. She is very rude too. She always yells at my classmates for doing nothing. One time she yelled at me for doing nothing. I was sick of it, but hey, only one year with her, only a couple months left. I can get through it.
History is always my last period of the day, and I'm always excited to be the first one out of the classroom because the day is over. I walk to my locker, and get my books. And I realize, there was a note in there. It was pink and had a blue ribbon around it. Way to be fancy. I open the note and it says it's from Chase. I read it in such curiosity, and I was so into it, because the note said:
Dear Avery,
Valentine's Day is approaching, and I was wondering if you would be my Valentine. I loved you since the start, but just scared to confess my feelings. Please consider this, and maybe we can go further. :)
Xoxo,
Chase H.
I was so shocked to see what I just read. I was in such excitement. But I saw girls in the corner of the hall laughing and sneering. I looked and it was Sarah, Rebecca, and Addy and the rest of their gang. I grabbed my stuff and walked straight to their faces and threw the note straight into their faces, and walked off. I wasn't dealing with them.
I walked home as usual, and threw my stuff everywhere and wished I didn't exist. I know that's bad but it's the truth, my life is awful. The kids in my school are just so stupid.
Sincerely,
Avery
