Chapter 11
'I can't believe that the Hogsmeade trips been cancelled this weekend,' Ron muttered, while stroking Hermione's hair. They were sat in one of the greenhouses Hermione's head laid on Ron's lap, talking, him stroking her hair.
'But if Dumbledore thinks something dangerous is going to happen, then there's nothing that we can really do about it,' Hermione replied trying to make Ron feel better.
'It probably has something to do with Harry,' Ron said, sounding annoyed. 'I bet he knows what it's really about, but he just won't tell us.'
At that Ron and Hermione heard footsteps, followed by voices, heading towards the greenhouse that they were sat in.
'Ssssssh!' Hermione whispered, 'We have to hide.'
The two of them shuffled over to a table with a large supply of Mandrakes, that some second years must've been growing, and hid behind them trying to stay out of sight.
'Harry, you can't,' They both heard Ginny's voice. Ron sat up to look over the Mandrakes, but was quickly pulled back down by Hermione who didn't want them to be seen.
'I'm sorry Ginny, but I can't stay here anymore.' The two then heard the famous Harry Potter. The boy who was supposed to be their best friend. 'It's too dangerous, too everyone I love. If I stay here then you'll all be killed. You, Ron and Hermione. I can't risk it.'
'But if you go off on your own then there bound to catch you. You know who has everyone looking for you, you wouldn't make it three days on your own.' Ginny was pleading with Harry.
'What am I suppose to do Ginny?'
'Take me with you.'
Ron gasped at this. He didn't want Harry to go off on his own anymore than Ginny did, but he couldn't let his little sister go off with the Ministry's most wanted. Harry should take him and Hermione, if he didn't end up going alone.
'I've told you before Ginny, I can't take you with m...' Harry started to say, interrupted my Ginny's lips on his.
'Please Harry. If I can't go with me, then at least promise me you'll stay. For now anyway. Until you've figured out exactly what you have to do.'
Harry sighed knowing that there was nothing that he could do.
'Ok Ginny, I promise I won't leave straight away.'
Ginny squealed with excitement.
'Come on,' she said, taking his hand and the two of them ran off.
'What's Harry thinking about running away for?' Ron asked, standing up.
'What does he need to figure out?' Hermione replied.
The two of them sat in silence trying to figure out what they had just heard. Trying to make sense of the whole situation.
'We'll have to ask Harry about it later.' Hermione told Ron.
'Yeah, but if he hasn't told us anything already then why would he start now?'
Ron and Hermione were very confused as they gathered their things from the greenhouse and headed back up towards the common room, where they hoped to confront Harry.
