I couldn't help but talk to you; you were intriguing.

Though I could sense something behind those blue eyes, something dark. Like a cloud, hung over her head. She was broken inside, fragile like a kitten. She didn't believe she was beautiful, she didn't believe someone could fight for her. I wanted to change that, no; I needed to change that.

We talked in the halls, I looked at her like an was the only person in the world. To me she was, She was my everything. I couldn't smile without thinking of her, what a lovely person.

I became friends with her, I wanted to know what was behind those eyes. I was a tennis player, she was a bookworm. She was always in the library, always left when they kicked her out; never before. That was her escape, her safe place. I saw her, strutting home with a book in her hand; and I watched.
