You woke up with a gasp, breathing hard, body shaking and trembling from..what?
Surprisingly, you had passed out without any sort of dream or nightmare tormenting you..
At least you were safe here.
Wait..why were you even here? Was that the sun up there?
Shit..
You sat up quickly, but regretted your decision instantly, your head spun, geez did you hit your head..?
And how?
You touched your head gingerly, yelping when you felt the offending wound on the back of you head, it wasn't badly bleeding, but your sure you probably lost some blood if you're that lightheaded.
You looked around you, seeing you were in a patch of buttercups, your blood splattered on some of the petals, making you grimace slightly.
How'd you end up here again?
You sat there, in the desolate area around you as your eyes soon met with the crystal blue sky above you. A slight wave of panic punched you in the gut as you took a sharp intake of breath.
How the hell did you get here?!
That's right.
You had actually thought that listening to the voice in your head was an a grand idea. And you were more then positive that they had pushed you into the hole.
You growled softly to yourself before picking up the bag you had brought with you and brought it closer.
Good..
Nothing got broken and things seemed to still be intact. Well.. Almost everything wasn't broken.
Your phone had taken the blow from your fall. You had taken it out your sweater pocket and seen the screen completely smashed beyond repair. Even the internal screen was completely fucked.
Mmmkay, not weird whatsoever. A smashed phone..
How? And more importantly, when!?
You were pretty sure you woke up on your back..but your phone was broken. In your front pocket.
Ugh what a headache, nothing added up..
"Don't dwell too much on it.."
Hm..sounded like the evil child who pushed you in was talking again.
"Pffft. Me? Push you in?? Why I'd never!"
You rolled your eyes and lifted yourself up to your feet. You could feel your bones pop and crack as you stretched.
Your body was a tad achy from the fall. And besides a few cuts and scrapes you had on your face and hands, you were completely fine.
You went to take a step forward before your whole leg gave out, making you yelp and fall on the cold grass.
"My ankles twisted a little.."you hissed out to yourself as you struggled to get upright again.
You finally managed and walked down the empty hall with a small bit of trouble of course. Hopefully there'd be someone down here.
A small flash of lavender could be seen outta the corner of your eye, causing you to swivel your head in that direction..
Why would anyone else besides you be here..?
"No ones there."
They informed making you sigh in relief and walk-more like hobble on through the door with large pillars next to it..
As you walked cautiously towards the patch of grass in the middle of the room, you could see something moving around nervously in it..
Wait a minute, golden bloom with a stem.
Was that Flowey..?
You walked up to him rather quickly and stopped as he turned around, smiling brightly.
"Howdy! I'm Flowey The Flower!" He mocked a innocent sweetness only a child could truly have. It made you scoff slightly as he continued with his usual spiel.
"Hm..you're new to the Underground aren't cha? Well, golly! Someone's gotta teach you how things run down here." You seen him looking between the space behind you, making you tilt your head slightly, he's never been this distracted whenever introducing you..
What was he playing at?
"Flowey." You said, not in a way that someone who's never seen such a sight before would say. You knew who he was. What he was about. Who he used to be.
He seemed to perk up a little before looking back up at you again.
"What's going on Flowey?" You asked crossing your arms. Even the voice in your head seemed to be contemplating the situation.
They made a humming noise as you stared down at the flower who sighed, looking agitated.
"Look since you clearly remember everything I won't sugar coat anything." You tensed slightly..he's never said anything else then what he's supposed to say. He's never went against the script no matter how much you questioned in other timelines.
Something was different..
"Just be careful here..No ones going to protect you anymore." And with that, he disappeared into the soft earth below him, leaving you standing there confused.
You looked up expecting to see Toriel coming out to see if there were humans. But the lack of her entrance only served to puzzle you further..
