An ending
*First verse, Sans*
•Second verse, you•

He woke up with a confused look, it soon morphed into a look of worry.
The fifth time this month he's dreamed of this horrific scenario..He finally snapped and killed everyone..
Even Papyrus.
Even he couldn't believe in doing such a thing..
Not to his own family..

*When did I get these memories, these big ones I can't seem to remember*

Something wasn't right though, it wasn't his run of the mill nightmares anymore. No Gaster shattering across space and time. No Frisk committing genocide. Just flashes of a lavender haze and a hoarse cry calling his name..
A voice so familiar, yet he couldn't recall the person saying it..
Not to mention his hands dusty with a pale powder..

*Out of all of the things I can't seem to recall, there's one thing I remember pretty well*

The cry of his name coming from that humans lips. A human he's never even met before..right..?
Then again..
Their tone of voice, it was almost similar to this person he's seen around town a few times.
They'd laugh with his younger brother gleefully and usually give a chiding tone whenever they'd correct him.
Were they similar..?
Nah, he was imagining things.

*Try again, a thousand times all I remember is your face, but I still can't seem to remember "you", I'm not really sure why..*

Shaking his skull he sat up from his bed with a small groan. That's not right at all. He's never seen them in the Underground once. Yet his memories couldn't lie.
He definently remembered this person. But from where??
But why did their face match this voice? Not to mention he would see flashes of their face talking with him so casually.
Lifting himself up from his bed, he listened intently to hear the telltale sign of Papyrus being awake..
He waited for a few seconds before humming to himself..
No pans or "Nyeh heh heh's"
Was someone over?
No, he'd be able to hear Undyne, and Alphys' anime would be loud for all ears to hear..

*The belt line wraps globe, 'round and 'round chasing the dawn endlessly*

Ah, it was almost dawn, that's why. Maybe Papyrus would be up soon then. Glancing out the window, he watched as the golden rays begin to paint the dark starry sky. The warmth from the light just rising from behind the horizon.
The sun really was beautiful, especially during a sunrise, it always reminded him that everyone was alive, that they were all living happily on the surface with Frisk as their ambassador.

*But running the rails is too simple; We follow our own desires pursue the dusk*

But the stars were really something else though. Millions of constellations and so much to look at under the thick blanket of darkness.
The way he would stare up at stars with them sitting next to him--
He wanted to slap himself, what? Why were these memories that never even happened were haunting him?
Their smile on their soft features as they tried to impress him with some knowledge on the stars.

*Try once more time maybe, a thousand times,
And all I remember is your soft smile*

But that same smile could twist and contort into pain as blow after blow would be delt to them continuously. It hurt his Soul to even think about such things. He didn't like seeing them hurt..
'But why? It's not like I personally know them. They're just some random human; one of Papyrus' friends..' It made his skull swim with confusion.

*Light rain slides from my eyelids,
And I still can hear that dead, dark voice...*

Did he really kill everyone? That voice that usually taunted the human in his dreams sounded like his, not to mention how dead and drab he looked while he usually stumbled about..
Yup it was him all right. And this human was someone he knew. He was positive of it.
