Elsa POV

Elsa regretted ignoring Rapunzel and Anna's advice about the castle being like a maze. She didn't want to admit it to herself, but her decision to roam around the castle was stupid. She was lost and would probably never make it to the celebration in time.

"Elsa!" She turned around. At the other end of the hallway, she faced North. "What are you doing here? This part of the castle is for head Guardians only."

So, this was her Grandfather. If she tried hard enough she could see a mild resemblance in the way he might look like her. They both had the same blue orbs for eyes. And they both had the same white hair, but she assumed his was from old age and not from being resurrected by the Man in the Moon.

"I-- I'm sorry," she stuttered. "I got lost."

"It's okay, I wanted to show you something anyway," North said. "Come here," he moved aside showing her the entrance of a large door with a huge M on it.

For some reason, Elsa was suddenly nervous. She didn't reply to him, only paced quickly towards the door.

He opened the door and let her in first. It was full of computers and other technology, at the center of the room, a big globe.

Tiny little elf people ran passed them, and huge yetis were walking around like they couldn't care less about anything.

"This is the head Guardian Room," he gestured around, pointing things out. Then her stopped in his tracks and turned to her, "I-- I'm not sure if your sister already told you--"

"She did. I know you're our Grandfather," Elsa said.

"Well, your mother used to work here," he said. "She used to monitor all Guardians and Nightmare attacks throughout the world. I'd like you and your sister to move here. I know you're fond of your friends at the Burgess Institute but I think it's time you were reunited with family."

Elsa hesitated, "With all due respect sir--"

"Just call me North."

She paused, "North... I can't move here. Burgess is my home, even before I knew I was a Guardian. And Ja-- I've made some very good friends." Elsa stuttered.

"Jackson Overland Frost, I hear you two are fond of each other," he looked disapproving. "Be careful with that boy, he likes to play games. Especially with the clueless ones."

She didn't know bother asking him what he meant by that. The idea of her long lost Grandfather, talking to her about the boy she loved, only made her want to bury a hole and sit there for all eternity.

"What's that?" She pointed to the slowly turning globe in the center of the room. It was about the size of a car. It had many yellow lights, most of them lit near the North Pole but a few were scattered around the world.

"This globe shows us the location of all Guardians. Well technically all people who have the blood of the Man in the Moon," he said looking at her again. She saw his gaze shift up to her white hair.

"I thought I was the only one who had the blood of the Man in the Moon?" The Guardian world was so confusing, she thought but wouldn't dare say out loud.

"No, every Guardian has some bit of the Man in Moon's blood running through their veins. You just have a little more than most." he smiled at her. He looked at his watch, "Let's go to the ball, we're already late."

Elsa's heart fluttered, she liked it up here, where she was surrounded by yetis and elves. No pressure to have to fit in with all the Guardians downstairs. "Of course," she said following North out the door.
