[A/N: "A Thousand Suns" was basically just an update since it has been so long and I wanted to get that kissing scene out of the way. This chapter will be longer! *licks you all*]

Peter POV

Peter pulled away and saw what he had done. I kissed her? No. No. NO! Gem was smiling and biting her lip. No, she can't like me. No. No. He swallowed and stood up. "Urh, maybe you should get some sleep." His voice was hoarse. What is happening? Peter saw the hurt in her eyes and turned to walk away. He heard her say his name. It was soft and full of need. He closed his eyes as he felt the pain swell inside him. Peter continued outside to the other Lost Boys.

"Pan, what's the plan?"

"We have to protect the soul of Neverland. I'll probably be doing spells all around camp all day to try and keep this witch out." He took a deep breath, glad his hoarse voice faded back to normal. "Felix, take a small group of boys with you into the forest and collect Dreamshade."

Felix nodded once in understanding. "Patrick, Samuel, Jonathan!"

Pan turned around. "No, not Jonathan. Take Stephen."

Felix lifted an eyebrow but didn't protest. "Jonathan, you stay. Stephen, you instead."

Peter walked 30 feet outside the border of camp and began casting spells. He could feel a knot tying tighter inside him. He couldn't help but know that Gemma had something to do with it.

How could I be so weak as to fall for someone? She can't have me. Never.

Peter took a deep breath as he finished the last spell and teleported back to camp. Gemma still wasn't by the campfire so he assumed she was going to sleep. He looked away from his quarters and walked to the fire. He sat down, catching a dagger Felix threw to him and he began cutting apart the Dreamshade.

Gemma POV

Hours past and Gemma finally woke up. She felt a dull ache in her chest. Gem shook her head and slowly got out of bed. She left the hut and saw Peter with his back turned, cutting up something. His shoulders noticeably tensed. He knew she was there. She bit down hard and walked over to Johnny.

"Gemmie, you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, I'm doing alright, hun. Bit scary with the witch, is all."

Johnny nodded, still not convinced. Gem sat down and opened her arms for Johnny. He smiled and curled up with her. She softly brushed back his hair and began humming her usual tune. Felix walked over to them with two bowls of food.

"You must be hungry. You've slept most of the day away."

Gem smiled up at Felix and accepted her bowl, Johnny taking the other. Felix walked back to the fire pouring himself a bowl before walking back and sitting next to Gem and Johnny. The three began talking and were soon telling stories and laughing. Peter heard their laughter and turned around. Felix was animatedly throwing his hands around while telling a story. He still had his bowl in his hand and some of it landed on Gem and Johnny. They laughed about it and proceeded to clean it off. Peter could feel he was snarling so he looked away and continued cutting up the Dreamshade. Once he was finished he vanished the food away. Samuel was on his way over for thirds.

"Ah, come on!"

Peter snapped his head up and tilted it slightly to the side. "Excuse me?"

Samuel looked at Pan and swallowed. "Um, I just wanted more food."

"That's lovely to hear, Samuel. Please, do tell me how your abnormally sized teenage, male appetite is more important than the protection of Neverland."
