Chapter 1

Draco stumbled to the ground as him and Hermione reached somewhere that looke familiar. He looked around. They were in the forbidden forest, but then he heard a cough. He turned around and seen Hermione. She was bleeding, and had a knife going through her stomach.

Draco rushed to her immediately.

He waved his wand over her and said, " Vulnera Sanentur."

The wound started to close and beforehand long she was healed.

"C'mon 'Mione, wake up." He felt tears start to form in his eyes.

He picked up the top half of her body and cradled her in his arms as she laid there lifeless. He hugged her, and started to cry.

"It wasn't supposed to end like this." He said hugging her tighter.

"Please don't leave me, please....I love you." He cried.

"I'm not going anywhere, Draco......" he heard Hermione say in a solve voice.

Their grip on eachother tightened.

"I love you too Draco." She said.

When they both pulled apart from eachother, they both had tears in their eyes.

Draco's hands cupped Hermione's face and kissed her softly.

"Never do that to me ever again." He whispered to Hermione.

"I promise, I won't." Hermione said in a loving voice.

"So, will you please tell me what that task was, Draco?" Hermione said.

He sighed, "My parents wanted me to become a death eater like them, and in order for me to become one, I had to kill professor Dumbledore, by orders of Voldemort....." he puased looking at Hermione," but of course I didn't want to do it, but my parents were making me do it."

"Oh....well at least Dumbledore's not dead." Hermione said in a hopeful tone.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that."

"What do you mean?"

"Well Bellatrix made Snape make the unbreakable voul, which stated that if I failed to kill him, then Snape would take over and fulfill the task." Draco said.

"Oh...." Hermione said.

Just then they heard an blood curdling sreach coming from the castle.

"Well that doesn't sound good," Hermione said turning her head towards the castle
