Chapter 24

Everything went to hell quickly.

Giants were starting to attack the knights. There were explosions everywhere and students trying to take cover.

"Get inside!" McGonagal shouted.

It was complete and utter panic in the castle.

A death eater flew threw a window.

Everyone screamed and ducted.

Harry raised his wand and said "Stuplify!"

The death eater crashed into one of the posts.

Ginny and Neville rushed up the stairs towards Harry.

"Ginny Neville, you alright?" harry shouted over all the panic.

"Never better, I feel like I could spit fire! You haven't seen Luna have you?" Neville said quickly and out of breath.

"Luna?" Harry questioned.

"I'm mad for her, I think it's about time I told her since we'll probably both be dead by dawn." Neville yelled sprinting up the stairs.

Harry and Ginny looked at each other and Ginny kissed him.

She pulled away and Harry gave her an 'I'm sorry' look and Ginny nodded, "I know." She said hugging him and they both ran in different directions,

Harry ran through the halls.

The walls exploded and crumbled as he ran past them.

Harry stopped and closed his eyes in front of the wall that he had once stood in front of two years prior.

Draco, Hermione, and Ron were looking at the Marauder's Map, trying to find Harry.

"We'll never find him on this." Ron said.

"There he is, just there," Hermione said pointing to Harry's name.

"Brilliant!" Ron said.

"Huh...... he just vanished, just now, I saw it." Hermione said confused.

They looked up as they heard what sounded like the stair cases were still moving.

"Maybe he's gone to the Room of Requirement." Ron said, "It doesn't show up on the map, does it; you said that last year."

Hermione nodded and looked at him in surprise, "That's right, I did!"

"Let's go!" Ron said walking away.

Hermione stood there with Draco, quite stunned. "Brilliant!" She said following him down the hall.

Harry entered the Room of Requirement.

He could hear the diadem ringing in his ears.

As he approached a table, he could hear the sound getting louder.

He slowly looked over the contentment of the table and spotted a small jewelry box.

He picked it up and opened it. then he took out the diadem.

He heard footsteps and turned around quickly.

"Relax mate, it's just us." Ron said.

"I'm assuming you guys destroyed it." Harry said.

"Yeah," Hermione replied.

Then they heard footsteps coming from across the room, and out of nowhere, Pansy and Blaise appeared.

"Expelliarmus!" Hermione yelled pointing her wand and Blaise.

"Avada Kedavra!" Pansy hissed as she pointed her wand at Hermione.

"Stuplify!" Hermione said and the tiara flew up into the air.

"That's my girlfriend you bastard!" Draco yelled, running after  Blaise and Pansy.

Harry started to climb the huge tower of furniture and Hermione followed behind him.

As Harry  reached for the diadem, they all heard a yell coming towards them.

"Blaise set the bloody place on fire!" Draco said coming into view.

Harry and Hermione both turned their heads and saw massive flames drawing closer.

Harry grabbed the diadem, and they quickly jumped down from the tower of junk and started running.

The four of them stopped when they realized that they were cornered.

"We've got to get out of here!" Ron said.

Harry looked around and spotted four brooms.

He handed one to everyone .

They all mounted their brooms and launched themselves up into the air.

"We can't just leave them!" Harry remarked.

"He's joking right?" Ron said looking back at Draco and Hermione, "If we die for them Harry, I'm going to kill you!" Ron yelled over the crackling fire.

They all swooped down.

Harry held out his hand for Pansy to take.

She hesitated a moment then took it.

Ron did the same with Blaise.

As they got closer to the exit, Hermione waved her wand and the fire opened up.

They flew through the door and Pansy and Harry fumbled to the ground.

Then Pansy and Blaise ran.

Harry got up.

Hermione took out the Basilisk fang and handed it to Harry.

Harry stabbed the diadem, and as black smoke rose from it, Ron ran towards it and kicked it into the Room of Requirement, just as the doors were starting to close. Then the door disappeared and it went back to looking like a normal wall again.

Harry fell to the ground and saw Voldemort.

He knew Harry was close to destroying all of the Horcruxes.

"My lord?" One of his followers said.

"Avada Kedavra!" Voldemort yelled and the follower was instantly killed.

Then a different image came into Harry's head.

"Might it not be more prudent to call off this attack. Simply seek the boy youself?" Lucius Malfoy said.

"I do not need to seek the boy, before the night is out, he will come to me! Do you understand?" Voldemort said turning to Lucius.

Then he smack him.

"How do you live with yourself, Lucius?" Voldemort said somewhat calmly.

"I.....I don't know......" Lucius said quietly and in a shaky tone.

"Go and find Severus!' Voldemort said, "Bring him to me!"

Then harry was back in reality.
