Lucy's POV
I Crawled into bed tired from a fantastic day hanging with Natsu we went down by the pond and played there all day. We swam and splashed each other. tomorrow is my tenth birthday. The thing is this is my first birthday without my mother just thinking about it makes me wanna cry, but not today besides my mom would want me to be happy.
"G'Night!" Natsu said as he crawled into his bed across form mine.
"G'Night Natsu!"
I closed my eyes and smiled and rested my head on the pillow. Suddenly the next thing I knew I saw my Mom standing in front of me with no emotion what so ever.
"MOM!?!?," I cried. I ran towards her with my arms open, but before i could grab her for a hug she faded away like dust in the wind. Then I Ripped my head around to see Natsu with his back towards me.
"Nat-," Before I could finish saying his name he cut me off.
"Shut up twerp I don't got time for games no leave me alone you piss me off!! Then before I knew it he disappeared just like my mother. Then another image appeared It was a girl with long blonde hair that looked similar to me with clothes ripped to shreds. The girl looked terrified with tears streaming down her face with a dragon staring evilly into her eyes. Suddenly a older man with pink hair that I could notice from a mile away it was................Natsu.
Is this a dream? Is this a nightmare? is this a vision? I felt like i was going crazy, but i tried to tell myself it was just a dream.Suddenly everything disappeared and the last thing I heard was one loud scream. I sat up as quick as possible and started panting looking around the room. I ripped of the covers and ran to the side of Natsu's bed.
"Natsu....Natsu," I started to shake him. "Natsu Please *Sniffle* .....Please ...*Sob*."
"L-Luce whats the matter?" he said concerned
"NATSU!! Please don't leave me!" I threw my arms around him and held him tight.
"L-Luce? Hey It's ok and why would I leave you?"
Natsu's POV
I pulled her arms off me to see she was still crying. I let go of her arms and patted the side of the bed so she would sit down so we could talk about well what going on as soon as I saw her crying it felt like i was punched right in the face. It pained me to see her cry like this it reminded me the night when i first meet her, but these weren't tears of sadness........these were tears of fear.
"Luce Calm down i'm here.........and i'll alwaysbe here. So do ya wanna tell me why your crying?"
"I-I....*Sniffle*......H-Had a *Sniffle*...A Bad dream *sniffle* everyone left me alone and............" She said in a really tired manner trying to hold back her tears. I rested my hand on her head and pulled her in for a hug. After that we fell asleep and didn't wake up till 1:00 P.M. And yes that's how late we stayed up.
Lucy's POV
I fluttered my eyes open to find my self on the floor with a blacket. I stood up and looked at sleeping Natsu.
"Thank you......N-Natsu," I wispered
"No.....problem......Luce," he said tiredly and rolled over to look at me in the eyes.
"W-Wait you heard that?!?"
"Yea your a terrible whisperer," he said grinning.
"I wouldn't be so sure I think you just have freakishly good hearing, After all weren't you raised by a dragon?"
"yea, But anyway i'm starving you wanna go get breakfast?"
"Sure."
We walked out the door and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I saw the maids rushing around the mansion with bags and things I tried to talk to them, but they would just run passed me and Natsu. I opened the kitchen doors to find the kitchen empty.
"Miss........... Lucy," I heard a little worried in the voice. I turned my body around to see one of the maids holding black and white clothing.
"Darling honey........ We need to...talk," After she spoke she started to make me worried. Natsu and I follwed her to the room. We changed in to clothes she had given us. We sat down on the couch and the maid started to get teary eyed.
L-Lucy your father........well he........You know the trip he went on.
"Y-Y-Yes?"
"You Father is..................dead."
