Dragons Arise - Nalu fanfiction

Chapter 1: Alone....

A/N By the way this takes place P.S. Lucy is 9 years old and Natsu is 10 years old and plus sorry if this chapter is short ill make sure the next one is longer and tell me in the comments if you like the first chapter and  if you would like me to continue.

"CAW CAW"

Natsu opened his eyes and blinked a couple times as though he was confused. 

"SHUT UP BIRD!?!?!?" 

"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST!!" He yelled at the bird................ Only a little spark come out of his fist

the bird tilted it's head.

"STUPID MAGIC!!!" Natsu sat to the ground and pouted and muttered some things under his breath. Then Natsu laid flat at his back looking around to see where Igneel was, but he was no where to be seen. 

"Igneel?" Natsu called out. he looked over and saw a note and his scarf.

"DAD WHERE ARE YOU IS THIS SOME KIND OF SICK JOKE?" Natsu called in anger. Natsu started to shed tears and grabbed his scarf and started to run down the mountain carrying a note that said "I"m sorry Natsu i had to leave you this is for you own good i'm sorry my dear boy." 

"DAD DON'T GO DDDDAAAAAADDDDD!!!!!!!" I WANNA GO WITH YOU!!!" Natsu yelled as he continued to run down the mountain.

Natsu started to run he ran like he had never before he was filled with determination to find his father. 

(A Couple hours later)

Natsu couldn't walk anymore he had sores on his feet and he felt weak. Then when he was about to give up he came upon a mansion that was yellow and white with a beautiful garden surrounding the mansion.

"What is this place?"  he asked himself. he gave the mansion a hard look and saw that one of the windows were open he walked over to the window and saw a little girl with blonde hair crying with her face in her pillow. he tilted his head and asked......

"Hey......Whats wrong?" 

The blonde looked up and stared at the pink haired boy and clenched her pillow even tighter than before.

"Who......W-who are you?" she said confused. 

"I'm Natsu Dragneel!" he said as he smiled. he totally forgot about Igneel that moment. she smiled back and his smile almost felt comforting.

"H-hi Natsu im Lucy.........Lucy Heartfilla." She Stuttered

"Why were you crying lucy," Natsu said as he tilted his head. Then there was a long period of silence before anyone talked.

".................M-My Mom she passed........Away" She said as she  started to form tears in her eyes. The pink haired climbed into her window and sat on her bed next to her and hugged witch caught her by surprise. Natsu understood how she felt he wanted to comfort her.He wanted to protect everyone in need and be there when people needed him the most. Also to protect his people close to his heart. That is one thing Igneel taught him and it was something he was never going to forget.

"I lost my dad today, but I will find him one day I know he is out there waiting for me." Natsu said still hugging Lucy

"C-can we be friends?" she said Blushing bright red.

"Of course we can!!!" he said smiling 

"Wait.....if your dad's gone then were do you live?" Natsu looked down at his feet and his smile faded to a frown.

i'm guessing you have no where to go do you?" Natsu didn't move nor say anything. "Well in that case maybe you can stay with me until you find your father,"Lucy smiled and got up off her bed and pulled Natsu's arm.

" Lets go to my Daddy," Lucy said smiling as they ran out of her room and dashed down the hallway and down the stairs. Lucy  hasn't smiled like that in forever.
