Lucy's (POV)
My jaw dropped and my eye's started to fill with tears when I heard the word...........Dead. The word echoed in my head over and over again. I didn't want to believe it, but honestly I didn't know what to believe anymore. My mother................n-now my father. I ran out of the kitchen and ran into my room and slammed the door behind me. I flopped on my bed as tears one by one fell from my cheeks and I buried my face into my pillow to hide my face.

Natsu's (POV)
"LUCY W-!" Before I could finish calling after her she had already dashed out of the kitchen. "GOSH DANG IT," I said in anger. It really did hurt me to see her cry like this especially on her birthday. The maid dabbed her eyes with her hanker chief and exited the kitchen as well. I Gripped my hand into fist and ran out of the kitchen as fast as I could. I ran up the stairs at full speed and rushed through the halls of the almost empty mansion. When I found Lucy's room I opened the door slowly to find Lucy laying on her bed hiding her face in her pillow. I walked over towards Lucy'c bed and when I approached it I sat on the side of her bed sitting close by her.
"L-Luce i'm sorry about your father.."
"N-N-Natsu," Shen stuttered. The next thing I knew her arms where wrapped around me and her laying her head on my back. "Please *Sniffle* d-don't leave me.........please *sob*. I looked at her seeing streams of tears falling from her cheeks. I grabbed her hand and smiled. "I won't.......I Promise!"
"T-today was the day my father was supposed to come back for my birthday *Sniffle*..................He would always ignore me *Sob* he would yell at me if I entered his office and he would always make promises to me that he couldn't keep..................
Lucy's (POV)
I wanted to scream out in anger because just like always my father made a promise he couldn't keep....... My Father blamed me for my mothers death when he wasn't even there when she past he was in his FREAKING OFFICE WORRIED ABOUT HIS STUPID COMPANY IF IT'S ANYONE'S FAULT IT'S HIS!?!?!? I wanted to scream, but Natsu grabbed my shoulders and hugged me tight I couldn't help but turn bright red.
"N-N-Natsu..............what was your dad like?" After I asked him there was a moment of silence and he looked away from me trying not to make eye contact.
"He...............was the best Dad a boy could ask for he is the one who taught me magic and he taught me how to do things and we would laugh...........................but he is gone.......he left me about last week the day...........I meet you," He pulled me away from his embrace and looked me straight in the eyes. I could tell he was trying to hold back tears.
"He sounds like an amazing father," I smiled lightly and put my hands on his shoulders. "WAIT DID YOU SAY YOU COULD USE MAGIC!!!"
"Yea? Why" He tilted his head confused. I walked over to my dresser and grabbed a jewlry box which I only had a key to .It had pink and golden roses around the box with lace on the inside.
"This belonged to my mother before she had passed she gave this to me," I said calmly as I grabbed the key out of my dress pocket and stuck it inside the lock. I opened it and 2 golden keys with symbols on the 2 keys where Aquarius and Cancer.
"What are those?" Natsu looked very curious when he saw her pull out the keys.
"I'll show you follow me ," I grabbed Natsu's arm and ran out if the mansion to the from courtyard. As we were running I forgot all about....my father. When we reach the courtyard I grabbed out the two keys
"OPEN GATE OF THE GIANT CRAB CANCER," I Chanted And with a blink if an eye the celestial spirit appeared within thin air. "Hey Baby," Cancer said with a smooth tone.
"WHAT THE HECK HOW DID YOU DO THAT AND HOW DID HE GET HERE AND WHY IS HE CALLING TO BABY," Natsu rambled surprised.
"This is Cancer he call a lot of people baby Also I'm a celestial spirit mage."
"THATS AWSOME!"
"N-Natsu didn't you say that Igneel taught you magic as well?"
"Yea he did, but he didn't teach me ordinary magic, recently my magic energy has been drained since Igneel left i don't know why.
"Oh," I said kinda disappointed he couldn't show me his magic. For the rest of the day we played and laughed outside until it was time...............for my fathers funeral. I didn't go to his funeral I just..........couldn't take it plus there was one person there that I didn't want to see. I was sitting on the edge of the fountain in the courtyard. I was kinda down with all the stuff that was happening and no one besides Natsu remembered my birthday. I rested my elbow on my knee and had my head resting in my palm. When I was about to walk back into the mansion I fell into the fountain. It was Natsu he pushed me in.
"PFT..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHA," Natsu laughed evilly.
"WHAT THE FRICK MAN!?! NOW IM ALL WET JERK!!" I grabbed his arm and pulled him into the foutain with me. "Now where even," I grinned
Normal (POV)
Natsu and Lucy splashed each other and laugh until the sun was gone and the moon was out. Lucy and Natsu went inside the mansion soaking wet with water trailing behind then as they walked through the halls surprisingly none of the maid had noticed she wasn't back by her curfew. Natsu was still thinking about his father wanting to go find him, but Lucy needed him right now. Igneel is out there somewhere because those words from the note rang in his ears over and over again what did he mean by it is for my own good does this have to do with his magic being drained?
A/N Hey guys im having a lttile bit of trouble like what to write so i'm having a little bit of writers block so sorry about that. Plus Natsu and lucy are younger there is going to be a time skip where they are older in the next chapter so just wanted to let you know. PEACE OUT!!
