Chapter 7: His Pain

Natsu's (POV)

"L-Luce?"

"Natsu?"

"OMG! L-Lucy! I missed you so much and why are you not at man-," Before I could finish I saw her burst into tears.

"WHY!?! WHY DID YOU LEAVE ALL THOSE YEARS AGO DO YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH THAT HURT ME WHEN I SAW YOU LEAVE," She yelled at me as she cried. I walked to her to hug her. She buried her face in my scarf when i felt pain shoot through my arms once more.

"FRICK," I muttered trying to ignore the pain. Then I felt dizzy  and the darkness consumed me everything went black.

Lucy's (POV)

"NATSU!" I rushed down and tried to pick him up either he was really heavy or I was just really weak I didn't know and didn't care. I Quickly Ran into the Magnolia Motel where I rented a room. I was trying to unlock the door without dropping Natsu. When I opened the door I walked over to the bed and Placed him there . I went into the bathroom and grabbed a washcloth and rinsed it under warm water and rested it on his head.  I looked at him and smiled I had missed him so much. Life without him was boring and There were times My uncle would beat me if I didn't pay attention when he was teaching me how to run the company or if I refused orders. My heart was broken when he left, but now it's whole again. 

"L-L....luce," he said while sleeping I couldn't help, but blush. he rolled over to his side and grunted and grabbed his arm...... he was in pain. I sat on the bed next to him and pulled of his jacket to find bandages rapped around his arms. I reached for the bandages and started to unwrap them lightly. Just before I finished unwrapping the bandages I paused to find black markings and red scales on his skin. 

Suddenly Natsu started moving Just before he woke up I dropped to the floor and laid down and closed my eyes to act as if though I had fallen asleep. Suddenly I felt warms hands touch me. Suddenly  I opened one eye and saw  Natsu holding in Natsu's arms bridal style. I felt my face burn up and became even hotter when Natsu looked down at me with his onyx eyes.

Natsu's (POV)

I sat up and found myself on a bed and saw that my bandage had been removed from my left arm CRAP! Hopefully now one saw. I searched around the room with my eyes, but then I found a sleeping Lucy laying on the floor. I Got out of bed and picked her up in my arms it felt nice to be able to hold her like that I missed her so much and how we played together as kids.  I picked her up and looked down and found Lucy looking at me with one eye open and as red as a tomato. I grinned at the sight, but then I realized she brought me here and try to heal me.

"Lucy I may be an idiot sometimes I know your not sleeping," I said still grinning at her flushed face 

"*Sigh* You caught me..................Natsu I want an explanation what's happening to your arm?" She gave me a worried look. I set her down on the bed and sat next to her. 

"To be honest i'm not 100% sure my self, but I kinda know what's going on." 

"What ever it is please tell me so I can help you," Lucy said to me concerned. 

"*Sigh* ........Ok so apparently When a dragon slayer Finishes there training and learns most of the dragon slayer secret arts they go through this stage where they instincts and stuff like that change. Also they gain this dragon like form............"

"Wait................are you telling me your gonna turn into a dragon," Lucy said confused

"WHAT! NO! It's more of a dragon/ human form. Also I've heard that some dragon slayers forms can become out of control including there feelings.

"Your gonna be okay though..............Right," Lucy asked worried

"........Yea of course," I reassured her. " And lucy."

"yes?"

"Thank you..................Thank you for taking care of me." I said to her as a smiled my signature smile.

*She blushed*  "Y-Yea of course." At that moment I realized just like old times when we were kids always caring for each other. I remember the one time Lucy fell and I patched up her scrape. I will protect her no matter what. She means the world to me.............................
