Chapter 8: Close

Lucy's (POV)

I walked away from natsu and went into the bathroom to see if there was a first aid kit to help with the pain for natsu. I opened the cabinet and there wasn't anything inside it.

"Hey Natsu im gonna head out and buy some things to help with your arm ok?"

"I can come with you!"

"NO! You need to stay here and relax I don't want you fainting again because... YOUR FREAKING HEAVY DUDE!"

".....*Tsk*.....Fine, but if you gone longer than 45 minutes i'm coming to find you."

"Sounds fair," I said as I put on my cloak. I put on my cloak so that people don't recognize me because I belong to the Heartillia line. Last time that bastard thief tried to take my keys and kidnap me, So he could get  access to the heartfilla company and steal all the money. I walked to the door and opened it and walked out to the summer breeze flowing through my hair. I Threw on my hood and started walking down the streets of Magnaolia. 

Suddenly I saw a women dressed in armor with red hair and a shirtless guy with raven hair. Suddenly they pointed at me I looked in the opposite direction so they wouldn't notice that I was looking at them. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming my way and I knew that was not a good thing so by instinct I started running and ran into an alley way.

"*Sigh*.......That was close........GAH!! Suddenly I fell to the floor with the raven hair guy holding me down and the scarlet haired girl holding a sword to my throat. They pulled of my hood. I started to sweat and started getting nervous.

"WHERE IS NATSU YOU BASTARD," The women said strictly.

"W-What are you talking about," I said

"You must be and idiot I saw you carrying Natsu unconscious where did you take him," said the raven haired man. The scarlet haired mage brought the sword closer to my neck I closed my eyes  and turned my head. Is this going to be my last breath?......Suddenly as the scarlet haired mage brought the sword closer to me I heard a familiar voice....

"ERZA GRAY WHAT THE FRICK ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS DOING," Suddenly I realized who it was .....it was............NATSU!

Natsu's (POV)

Lucy has been gone for a while now I've been worried about her ever since that thief almost kidnapped her. I couldn't help, but go after her besides I didn't want to loose her after I just got her back. I walked out the door and walking down the streets casually. When suddenly I heard someone say "WHERE IS NATSU YOU BASTARD." I started running to where The sound had come from. Good thing I have freakishly good hearing. Suddenly before my eyes I saw Lucy on the ground with Erza holding her sword towards her throat and gray holding her down.

"ERZA!GRAY! WHAT THE FRICK ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS DOING," I said Pissed off.

"Natsu?" Gray and Erza said in unison.

"GET OFF HER........NOW," OK......maybe I over reacted a little but still  they could have hurt her.......jeez how many times is Lucy gonna get in trouble.

"N-Natsu? I thought you were kidnapped Gray saw  this girl carry you away unconscious."

"she helped me after well I had fallen unconscious and.....Well this is Lucy the girl I have been telling you about......."

"OH," Erza said as she removed her sword. I walked to where Lucy was still on the ground I held out my hand to help her up she grabbed for it and I lifted her up. 

"Also why did you run out of the guild like that?" Gray asked concerned 

"...................," I stayed silent

"Natsu," She called "Do you know these people?" 

"Yea these are my guild mates Erza and Gray," I said as I pointed towards Erza and Gray. 

"Heheh...........sorry about well.......um attacking you." She laughed nervously. 

It's......ok," I heard her say quietly. "I should......head back to the motel it's getting late." 

"L-Lucy i'm coming with you who knows someone could try to take you again or maybe worse," I said in a worried tone

"O-OK..............you really don't have too."  

"No Lucy I just got you back........ i'm not losing you again!"

Erza's (POV)

Gray and I watched as Lucy and Natsu walked away talking and laughing a little. Gray and I walked back to the guild to find everyone laughing and of course Cana doing her daily Drinking. I walked over to where Master was. 

"Did you find Natsu," Master asked

"He is fine he will be back by tomorrow," I Reasurred him. 

"It's good to know he is doing well."

Lucy's (POV)

 Natsu and I walked out of they alley way were Gray and Erza was. I turned my head and say his red guild mark on his shoulder then I looked up to see him looking at me smiling. Suddenly he pulled me by my hand and pulled me close to him. 

"Why are you always getting in trouble Luce?" 

"HEY! IT'S NOT MY FAULT," I said punching his arm playfully.  Suddenly we stopped walking. I turned to look at Natsu to find him staring at me with a grin on his face. Before I knew it he grabbed my arm and  his one arm around my waist while he was still grinning.  I Could feel my face heat up. 

"I will save you as many times as I need to until I know you are forever safe," Suddenly My heartbeat rose and my heart started beating frantically. suddenly his grip on my hand and waist grew. I looked down at the floor trying to hide my flustured face.
