Ahsoka frowned and shut off the tabletop comm. Standing and glancing back in concern, she quickly paced her way to the garden.
He was there, his back to her.
"Lux," she called out, the familiar sound of his name reassuring.
"Ahsoka," he exclaimed, startled by her sudden presence. Turning at once, he approached her, embracing her quickly before pulling back, his arms around her shoulders. "Did the Rebellion have anything important for us?"
Ahsoka sighed, looking down. "Bad news. The Empire's discovered a list of systems with ties to the Rebellion. All of them are being blockaded. There's rumours of a huge strike planned against some of those systems, but nothing's certain."
Lux's eyes widened. "Tell me that there's good news."
Ahsoka gazed back up into his eyes, blue in the midday light. "Onderon isn't on the list."
"How come?" the senator asked.
She shook her head. "It could be a trap. There's a place the Rebellion could go for answers, but... all the listed planets are being blockaded."
Lux pulled away, and Ahsoka could almost see the cogs shifting in his mind. "We have to go."
"It won't be easy," Ahsoka warned him. "There's a high possibility this is a trap." Her azure irises softened. "I don't want to lose you."
His answer was certain before he even spoke. "If we can't find a way to save the Rebellion, their fate will be the same as ours."
Despite herself, Ahsoka smiled, doubts reassured slightly. An issue dragged itself unwillingly to the front of her mind and her face fell at once. "Slight problem."
Concerned, Lux frowned. "Ahsoka?"
"This planet where these answers are... we don't know where it is. It's extragalactic."
The Togruta half expected Lux to sigh and turn away. On the contrary, he grinned like Life Day had come early. "Easy."
Ahsoka raised a white marking that functioned as an eyebrow, fighting back a smile.
"What are you planning, Lux Bonteri?" she asked.
"We," said the Senator, "are off to see a friend."
*i did it
it's so late here and I did it
I've forgotten how to write, my writing skills have disappeared, I have writer's block but I updated
...
I honestly have no right to be as proud of myself as I am
ANYWAY
!!TIME ZONE CHANGE ALERT!!
From the 11th to the 18th of February I'll be 7 hours behind England/British time; this might mean a bit of an upheaval but hopefully it shouldn't cause too much hassle.
I also should ask you; a while back I offered to write @Tragic_Shadow an Ahsoka fanfic about how she didn't leave the Order and became a Knight, uncovering Order 66 and dethroning Palpatine. I'm still down to write that, it sounds great, but I haven't heard back from them and I was wondering if any of you would still be interested in it. Also I am totally open to writing requests! If for whatever reason you want something like a oneshot or even a short story written for you, I don't mind doing it at all. Go crazy, anything Star Wars works- rarepairs, OCs, fluff, angst, crack, drawing-based- as long as I have something to write about to help me get over writer's block I'll be happy.I don't mind. Really.
Sorry for the long author's note and even longer wait, and the unpolished writing skills, and the semi-cliffhanger, and the short chapter, and everything else,
