"Miss/Mr Y/L/N can you please tell me what I just said?" The old ghost asked sternly.

"Why ol P (prof) why would we waste time repeating each other" you snapped back.

"That's it Y/L/N off to the nurse. Have fun in your day long detention there" the history prof barked making everyone that was unfortunate enough to still be awake jump. Off you went. you really didn't mind it in there anyways. walking down the corridors alone always had mads things a little more lonely and dull.

"momma momma momma momma!" a voice seemed to say off in the distance stopping you in your tracks.

"momma's boy" you grumbled to yourself. Stopping again it became more clear. it was.. but Hagrid said that Hogwarts was the safest place in the wizarding world! oh wait. he never got a proper education at Hogwarts did he? nope! (this fount is thoughts btw).

"what the heck am i standing around for then" you said cursing your lack of adrenaline. Quickly getting ahold of your thoughts you started racing to the screams. Darting past the great hall you started poking your head into empty classrooms. Quickly losing hope you quickly turned a corner on the third floor and ran into something. No. Someone.

"Oh sorry" you apologized the human wall.

"It's ok. Come to watch the show?" A Ravenclaw boy asked.

"Show?" You replied puzzled.

"Aww man you gotta come see."

Shrugging you followed the boys glance to a shaking body on the ground. "Oh my god" you whispered in utter shock.

"Great right?"

"What are you doing to them?"

"Practicing spells on them... well curses really"

You couldn't stand it anymore. You slid on the ground next to your crush, Luna Lovegood. "Lu you ok there?" You asked gently grabbing her hand.

"Yeah Y/N/N (nick name), just peachy" she signed to you.

Not moments later you heard running footsteps. "All Slytherins get the heck out of here and never do this again if you want to stay another day at this school" Nikki growled with a glare, and if looks could kill then just consider yourself dead. All the Slytherins, no matter how much they looked as if they wanted to argue, quickly left the scene.

"There is Luna and that other Ravenclaw" you said as you worked alongside Nikki casting healing spells.

"Sean?"

"Yeah. Always beat me in charms dang it" you replied making Nikki giggle a bit.

"You were so forceful and now your giggling like it never happened." You observed.

"Yeah well they deserved it"

"Too true"

"They said go help out the nurse, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind"

"Pshhhh"

"Wait LUNA OPEN YOUR EYES AGAIN!" You burst suddenly.

"Aye aye captain" Luna signed. (As In sign language cause she is mute)

*Y/N?* Luna signed as her eyes fluttered open.

"Yeah?" You replied scared.

*you're really pretty* she answered.

From there you leaned in and kissed Luna's frail body gently.

"I love you" Luna whispered. You stood shocked. She hasn't said a word in five years.
