That guitar is my guitar, I was trying to play tonight. This mirrors somewhat what I'm thinking right now. I really want to play but they don't understand my mind, no one really seems to.
You were sitting on the astronomy tower, your feet dandelions off the edge. With a swish of your wand the bars disappeared making room for you and your guitar. You sighed, your parents cancelled the lessons because they thought you weren't passionate for the guitar. It wasn't the same with you though, the more they bothered you about practicing the less you wanted to do it. It takes you a good minute "get passionate" with something. Both parents were so happy to hear you wanted to play (which you always wanted to).
Your parents gave you their old guitars which they loved. You were so happy to finally be playing, but when you started lessons everyone seemed to "give you the push" but it only made you hate the idea of playing the guitar. Even recently they brought up your "failed" tries in chorus, basketball, soccer, and now guitar. You never told them it hurt, you refused to cry in front of them too. You felt a little something inside you die though. They don't understand you thought to yourself as you let tears fall. You were alone. You couldn't play without the notes you used to have nor without a pick. You shook your head and carefully placed the guitar on the ground and pulled out your notepad and began to write a story you had been working on. Halfway through the story you heard footsteps and turned your teary-eyed face to the sound.
"Hey Y/N/N (nickname). What's wrong ?" Seamus asked as he sat next to you in the window and hugged you.
Usually you never let your walls down but they had already fallen for the night, midnight is as long as they can hold. You buried your face into Seamus's chest and sobbed. "It's petty." You snuffled, ashamed.
"Hey. I don't care. I told you, I'm always a shoulder to cry on" Seamus replied with concerned eyes.
Nodding you told him everything in between snuffles and sobs. Seamus listened carefully and made sure to pull you closer at the parts where you stumbled more. At the end of it all you looked up, awaiting the worst.
When you looked up you saw nothing but love in his eyes. Seamus softly laughed at some absurd thought before looking down into your E/C eyes and resting his forehead on yours. You smiled up at the boy. Why do boys always have to make the first move you thought.
"Well not always. For example, this time it was you." Seamus said.
"I said that around?" You asked nervously.
"Yup"
"Darn"
"Luckily I like you too Y/N" Seamus said before softly kissing you. You melted into the kiss although it stayed sweet and soft as he pulled you to him.
When you broke up for air you smiled up at him as he moved you into a more comfortable position so you two could snuggle a bit.
"Y/N?"
"Yeah Sea?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Always"
