You and Draco were standing behind one of the bigger trees snickering at the sight unfolding. Even though you were a Y/H you still loved to waste a little time and have some fun. Fun may have come in a different form for you and Draco than other people but who cares. You were trying out a new spell you had found while reading one of the old diaries you had found in your parents basement. By the looks of it it was an old friend of theirs from Hogwarts. Yes they told you to never go into the basement, and that if you did there would be grand punishment buuuuuuuuuuut you really didn't care. In the end it would be well worth it. As of right then you had one of the hufflepuff boys spilling every deep dark secret he had for everyone that was standing... well.. doubled over laughing to hear. "Guys stop making a scene the other schools are here" a frantic Ravenclaw girl whispered.

"Oh Riley I love you more than you ever know, but before you I had dreams about Hermoinie!" The boy sang to his dismay.

"Alright Draco and Y/N that the last straw!!" Cedric growled grabbing you wrist along with Draco's.

"Hey! Mr. Prefect you can't do that" you said pointing to his hands.

"Just did" Cedric growled taking the both of you to the hufflepuff common room.

"Guys why do you have to mess with Roy all the time?" Cedric said with a huff.

"It's halarious" you giggle.

"That's no excuse. Put yourself in his shoes. He never did anything to you. I get it won't stop you if I give you detention so can you just apologize to him at leave him alone?" Cedric pleaded.

"We would never got ourselves in that position" Draco pointed out with his signature smirk.

"Draco just apologize. That would be a sight to see. I'll handle Ceddy the teddy bear here" you said in a babyish voice.

"Ok fineeeee" Draco said with a toddler like huff. Draco jumped up from his place on the couch and walked out of the common room making sure to stop extra hard as if he was trying to knock something down.

"Y/N you are really nice when he isint around. Why put on the show? You don't have to be his friend you know." Cedric said.

"Yeah I know but I want to be. It's not an act it's just a different side of me. Draco is like a brother to me." You replied twirling your H/C hair around your pointer finger.

Cedric started tapping his foot on the wood making you tool your eyes. "Ok look I'm a prefect" Cedric started.

"Way to state the obvious" you cut him off. You saw him roll his eyes at your childish behavior.

"Oh screw it." You heard Cedric say quietly to himself.

Cedric gently took your hand. Probably to stop you from slapping him. Then leaned in and kissed you. Just as soon as he did this he jerked back as if he was stung by a bee. "I-I am sorry I don't kno-" Cedric stuttered with a blush.

"Nah uh!! Mine now" you said pulling him back to you and kissing him much to his surprise. When did you like him? Eh who cares! You liked him but you were not supposed to be friends.

"Y/N I really like you. Your H/C hair looks amazing no matter how you style it. You are secure about yourself. You don't let grades take over your life. You accept the dark times in life and move on. You secretly care about people. You are a challenge to read. I don't know why I like you but I do. Y/N I hate you, but somewhere in that hate I found an attachment to you. I don't want to see you near anywhere but near me." Cedric admitted all in one breath.

"Well dang." You replied before hugging him.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Mmmmm n- heck yeah!" You squealed burying yourself in his arms. And you stayed that way. With each other in the Hufflepuff common room listening to the crackling of the fire, and fellow students laughing."

Sorry it's really bad but I needed to get my mind off some personal issues that have been bugging me a lot recently. I may not do a bunch if updates, or I may do a ton and it all sorta depends on my home life at the moment. It's kinda personal but it's basically just a lot of everything really. Also I was crying when I wrote this so it probably sucks.
