-Mark's POV-
I was wondering where Jessica was because she was late to decathlon. I was about to text her when she came in the class with Asher behind her. "Hey so I'm going to go to football practice," he said before giving her a quick peck on the cheek. She sat down next to me completely red. I wouldn't blame her because if that was me I would be red too. I noticed that she had glasses on but I couldn't ask because their was a strict no talking rule in decathlon. She sat next to me but later we broke into groups and I had to talk to her at the end of decathlon. At the end I finally got to talk to her. "Hey," I whispered to her,"How'd you get new glasses,"I whispered again.
"A basketball hit me in the face from some weird kid that just ran away so I needed glasses but only until my vision clears up again,"she whispered back. After she told me that decathlon finished and we left to our lockers and then home where we started texting each other. I slept a good sleep considering it was raining. I should be sad but it means no running tomorrow.
-Jessica's POV-
After decathlon I went home only to be texted by Mark. So we texted for a little bit and then I received a call from Asher and got goosebumps from that so I answered right away. He was trying to ask me out on a date but he was shy so I did it for him. He wanted Mark to come because he wanted him to meet his twin sister. So I asked Mark and he said he was okay with it.
~Next Friday~
-Mark's POV-
It was Friday and Jessica had invited me for a double date to meet Asher's twin sister. I got all fancy and my dad drove me to the restaurant and the first thing I got I saw when I got in there was Jessica and Asher sitting in one booth. I guess his sister was in the bathroom. When I sat down I said hey to both of them and his sister came out looking mad and you'll never believe who it was. Karina.
