Your POV•

"That is the way I will live on~!" We both sang in the end... Well, not really the end. We started doing the guitar noises and rockstar hair flipping.

The instrument solo finishes and so does the song, I reach for the mic and we were on air once again.

"That was a great song! Oh hey! If you saw the live video recording on Instagram or Facebook just now, you'd see me and Mr. Jones here singing the song!" I looked at him and laughed, he laughed as well.

We finally calmed down from the giggles and I asked questions once again, "So, Mr. 'Man Of America', what's the song mostly about?"

"Well... It's about a guy trying to bring justice to the world, obviously, that's why it's called Justice Breaker. Oh, but mostly he just doesn't like the kind of justice people are portraying today."

"And what made you want to write it?".

"Because... I'm a man of justice! I'm stupid as well, but..."

He paused and I waited, "Yeah...?"

"Because... I'M THE HERO!!" Ah, that line. The line I loved so very much. I softly smiled at him.

"You truly are a hero, hm?" I whispered, barely even audible to the live video and recording.

"Yes, I am," He whispered back and smiled. We stayed like that for a moment until I snapped back to reality.

"A-Anyways! N-Next song, yeah? So the next song is called Donut Hole! Donut Hole? Eh... Why's it call that?" I asked confused. What kind of donut though?

"Well... Just listen to the song first! Who knows, you might like it!"

"I haven't really heard that song before... But anyways! Let's play it!" I turned off the mic and soon we were off air and the song started to play.

"Catchy..." I muttered.

But as soon as the lyrics started, the lyrics... The lyrics were so sad and emotional, yet it was sung in a happy tune.

That's no surprise for me.

This song's just like Alfred. Sad and emotional yet sung in a happy way.

My eyes didn't tear up, no. They were twitching. Was I triggered? Yes. I was triggered by the lyrics.

I tapped my foot to the beat and hummed along.

The song ended and I grabbed the mic, on air again.

"That song was catchy! It was pretty cute~! I liked it!" I wasn't lying. I liked it, but the same time I didn't.

This feeling's familiar...

I shook my head from the thoughts and smiled, my career depended on it.

"So, what's the song mostly about? It wasn't that vague, but it was a great song! I just want to know the story." I said.

He sighed sadly, "I-It's about a guy, a friendly cheery guy having amnesia... The person he loved the most was the subject in this song... He can't remember and lives on not looking back," He looked away somewhere his shame wouldn't reach.

"T-That's sad..." I twitched being triggered, "I really liked it though."

The glass made a noise and saw that it was Eric tapping the glass. He pointed to his watch, mouthing, 'The show's almost over.'

"A-Ah, well! That's all the time we got today for this radio show! Also, we're live here in New York, so album signing and autographs from me and Mr. Jones will be present!" I explained.

"Thank you for making me reach #1 on the song list of the world! I'll be making a new song next week! Stay tuned!" Alfred said on the mic.

"Oh! And there's also a new radio show coming out in our industry! It's called Night Vale, so please listen to it! We'd really appreciate it if you listen! So grab any podcast you have and go on your way!" I advertised.

"Stay positive!" I said as an outro.

"Byeeee!" Me and Alfred said in unison.

The show ended and we both stood up from our seats. I held out my hand and he shook it, "Nice working with you, Jones."

"And to you, too." He replied.

We walked out the door and went to our different ways...

Different paths...

And different lives...

But for every second I spent with him there...

I felt like I placed my heart on his chest all over again...

To Be Continued...
